Food was good! Portion is huge though. My friends and I were totally stuffed!!
Restaurant gave a complimentary birthday cake for my wife. Really appreciate and thankful to that lady filipino manager for all her good service. Its was a wonderful evening.
The service was great and far exceeded our (my boyfriend's and my) expectations. We went on 14th feb 2015 for our valentine's dinner and the whole set up and ambiance was just amazing. The servers were attentive & efficient, making sure we didn't have to wait or ask for them to clear our plates after each course, or for a refill of drink. A lady also gladly offer to help us take pictures when I surprised my boyfriend with his gift! (Even after providing each couple a Polaroid picture to keep for memory) the food was superb as well and the servings were generous. the staff really made our visit enjoyable and memorable, and just for the great service itself, I'm definitely coming back! :)
Food was pretty good, we ordered the meat platter & their signature salt & pepper calamari as well as the Dallas fries. The meat platter was huge! Definitely can be shared between 3 people at least (if you order other items) even though it was meant for 2. My friend enjoyed the lamb very much. The calamari was a tad bland, but extremely tender. Fries were decent. I wasn’t very pleased with the ambience though. We opted for indoor seating since it looked like it was going to rain and the only indoor seating available was the first floor which was the bar. I had hoped to dine at their restaurant located on the second floor, but it was not open. The bar was noisy and was not really the kind of setting I was hoping for, but I guess this is just a personal preference & it depends on the kind of gathering you intend to have? If I do return in the future, I will definitely call to check if the second floor is open. Service was decent.
Please make sure that my compliments reach the management coz all the staff deserves to be recognized. I was surprised of the excellent and warm service of all the staff . They were consistently helpful throughout our dining experience. They were all smiling and made you feel that they were willing to serve you. This is considering the fact that we are dining in using Groupon promotion. Normally, I receive discrimation whenever the staff would know that. I failed to get their names but I am referring to all the filipina ladies on duty between 8-9:30. Will really be back again:)) food are nice by the way:))
Once I found out this was a sports bar, I lowered my expectations for the food, but we had the Chicken Burger and BBQ Salmon Greek Salad which were delicious! The cocktails were also great. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and had the entire upstairs part of the restaurant to ourselves while the cricket match was going on downstairs. It was a perfect night. The wait staff was friendly and on point and even brought out a candle with our dessert. We’ll definitely be returning.
Was initially disappointed that the second floor was closed due to problems with the aircon, but all was good after the manager moved us to the riverside tables where we saw the water display on the Singapore River and fireworks at Marina Bay. Manager explained and apologise as service was abit slow yesterday due to two of the chefs had take ill. Quality of food was not compromised. Overall, a wonderful riverside evening with the family and enjoyed awesome food.
We were there for lunch on a Saturday and upstairs seating was closed - a pity on that. It would have been lovely for our party of 7 celebrating a birthday to be granted the level 2 seats. Service was great given that they are short-handed during lunch. Food portion was big and we could not finish all that we ordered. We each ordered a main, a platter for 2 to share, and 2 starters. The Roast chicken I had was definitely frozen meat and I could taste the chill. Seasoning used for the lamb was too salty, so was the miso for the cod. Other food items are average.
