Loved the strawberry shortcake. Not overly sweet and made with a nice, light cream.
Desserts were great, we went at 615pm on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded. Had the BLANC, MON CHERI and a quiche. Nice place for pre dinner desserts.
Nice and quaint patisserie. Interior is chic with tastely dashes of French accents. Very cozy ambience. Food is affordable. The items come in small portions so there's room for sampling a few. Their teas are also good :) Would have liked to get a pot of tea tho, if it was available.
Pastries were good but very few choices left to choose from. The main aim was to try the strawberry shortcake but didnt get to so abit dissappointed. No crowd at all so not necessary to make a reservation. Overall atmosphere is pretty gd. Very interestg to find a patissiere amongst hdb area.
It is a pleasant visit to Ciel @ Hougang. Nice deco and a small cosy place to go after lunch/dinner. The cakes are not too sweet and the kids love the Strawberry Shortcake
Nice cakes served here for both dine in and take away.
