The black bean fermented fish is great!! Takes some effort to get the service staff but it was good nonetheless. be prepared to wait as big groups love to dine here and chitchat over drinks.

the restaurant does not have enough pot for the fish and therefore were asking us if they were allowed to clean the table and clear the pot.

Reached around 7pm on a Friday night and waited around 30-45mins. The service staff cleared the table relatively fast and the food came fast too. Ordered large for 3 pax and we were all stuffed by the end of it. Great food, but can be a tad expensive depending on what you ordered.

I booked for a table for 5pax at 8pm. When we were there at 8pm, our reservation was not registered in their reservation book, and it seems like they don't accept reservation unless we walk in n put our name down in their record bk n q for our turn. We waited for about 15mins. When we ordered our food, they missed out adding inoki mushroom and beancurd skin into our grilled fish pot and i need to remind them 3times b4 a waiter was asked to our table to check. He picked up the lader which was left on the table (which the table was not very cleaned) n lightly digged under the fish we had started eating to confirm that they had left out the food and we were only served with the missing food 45mins later, when we almost finished our dinner. We rejected it.

the food was pleasant and the staff were friendly and accommodated to some of our requests made. however, as we were seated outside with not many customers around (inside was packed), it took awhile to get the attention of the staff at times. nonetheless, we would still go back to chong qing for the good food!

The food quality has dropped. Service was also not good. Restaurant was barely half full but ataff looked like they are in a rush and are not paying attention to the diners.

The staff is friendly, but the mala fish & pickled cabbage fish is too oily.

There was not much benefit of making a prior reservation except to join another shorter queue of those who had reserved. Food is awesome although the reservation system can be better improved

Made a reservation at 6pm and the restaurant was in chaos. Every1 was crowding at the entrance until they told us to queue up again for reservation too. Bad experience

I was actually not able to eat at the restaurant, as they did not notice the bookings from quando, I know this because another family faced the same problem with me. In the end, I decided to not wait anymore and politely tell them that I'll go to other place instead. I would suggest to call the restaurant to confirm instead.
