Nice ambience. Not crowded on a Friday, thus good place to chill out with friends. Food is not bad. Animal odour is very strong outside the cafe since the horses stable is just near by. Better to sit inside the cafe.

A surprisingly good brunch with a variety of choices. So glad to finally found a decent place to be able to bring my furkid along in Woodlands area! Thank you Cheval Cafe for supporting this move! Will recommend your place to all my friends who are furkids owners :)

Although it is a little out of the way, but it's definitely worth a visit as the food is nice and suitable for family with kids and pets. People who are looking to escape the city should visit this bar!

Nice ambience & foods. A place far from crowd to enjoy relax Friday night with live band. One thing to mention, hope waitress can offer water if they see our drinks finished consumed.

Cheval is a pearl which hidden @ Woodlands & close to my workplace. So it's convenient for us to have a nice dinner & enjoy the live band on Friday night.

A place suitable gathering with friends & family. This is 1st times we went to this cafe Bar Bistro for our company team building lunch.

Great setting great food as usual. Brought colleagues and client here for their first time and good experience. However the new group of staff is not very attentive, service is not good. Need improvement.

Went for brunch on a Sunday late morning. No crowd. All our main course were served together - 👍🏻. Able to get good view of the horses no matter rain or shine because the restaurant is beside the sheltered horse riding area.

Nice place. But price is in high range. There are ants crawling on the table as the drink and dessert attached them. Overall , good experience .

Hidden gem in the north. A place to chill with your loved ones. Can see the horses running around. Food wise the price is around restaurant pricing.

Went to this cafe the 3rd time already. Overall it is nice ambient and convenient parking space. Food also tasted not bad. But the speed of serving dishes can be improved, as well as the attitude of the staff.

Food reasonably good, especially their Garlic Mussels w/garlic bread and Bacon Quesadilla. Staffs were friendly and attentive. Ambience most of the time was relaxing except there were times where people playing the darts, it became noisy.

Nice place for the whole family to spend an afternoon here as there are horses’ training grounds right in front of the cafe. Food was ok for the price.

The food are really good and in fair amount. The place was really quiet and chill in the brunch timing and you get to see people on horse practicing. The price is really fair too. Loved it!

Overall ambiance was alright, average, quite loud place thus good for friends gathering. Not very suitable for family or couples for quiet setting. Service was good.

Nice ambience and you can see horse trotting by if your meal time is around noon. Service is not bad too. Serve decent food. Price is reasonable :)

Very attentive staff, maybe because we visited at a quiet time, 2.30pm on a Tuesday. The bar snack of soft shell crab is really crunchy n nice. My daughter love it. We were able to sit near the ring n watch people learn to ride, a close up look at the strong horses. Very tranquil..

Nice place, friendly people with good service, excellent steaks. Things that can be made better 1. The Carbonara Pasta is too hard. 2. The Capellini is kinda dry and texture wise also undercook. 3. Creme brûlée has a special flavour to it not to my family's liking.... dill? Or something like that. 4. Banana smoothie taste very much like banana sugar syrup, too sweet but doesn't blend in with the banana flavour. 5. The TV program can actually show something more pleasant that suits the environment rather than channel news Asia Best regards

Food was normal but serving time was slightly long even though there were barely any customers. Also quite a bit of walk from the mrt station.

Very slow service and even served wrong dish and wanted my friend to make do with the wrong dish served. Terrible customer service with mediocre food.

Nice ambience, parking is convenience, staff is friendly and herbal spring chicken is good. was celebrating my girl 's birthday and was given a complimentary lava cake which tastes so yummy.

I was surprise that there were dart boards at $1 person. Food was good and friendly service staff. Nice environment to watch people learning to ride horses.

Ambience was good, though it was spoilt by a group of customers talking loudly in foul language. The food ingredients were fresh and tasty but I tasted better cappuccino the last time I was there. Staff was courteous but could have been more proactive in recommending what to eat.

Pleasant place to chill without much crowd. Electronic dart boards available for some game play if the horses riding around are not enough to attract you!

Very nice ambience and the dart board is a great recreation for family gathering. Food is great and the service is excellent. Surrounding environment is truly unique on its own.

It is a good casual place to hang out near woodland. The restaurant has a very good relax environment in indoor and outdoor. However it might be a bit smelly at open air area Nevertheless , i will definitely go back again for the good food and make sure i sit indoor!

Decent food but in the evenings there is a crowd coming in for the 3 dart machines they have, so the place becomes a rowdy and pub like environment.
