The lunch was disappointing. Pasta was undercooked, and taste was plain and flat, the gnocchi was only flour and the sauce was very thick and cheesy. The scallops were sliced too thin and the dessert, tiramisu was just sugar! Disappointed, they were quite good before, chef must have left

I am a frequent patron to Alba and hence I built a good relationship with the MD/Owner and his wife. His staffs also recognised me in particular the manager Wati. Hence me and my guest were treated very well by all of them. Very satisfying.

The owner is away in Italy whom will always entertain us with good suggestions. Waiter and waitress have changed so they do not recognise me a regular. The beef seems a little dry but the parma ham is really fantastic.

A well composed menu and a comprehensive wine list paired with good craftsmanship in the kitchen and in the restaurant ensures a fantastic experience. Matteo looks after his guests with a warm and genuine touch.

The restuarant was very helpful in fulfilling my request, staff were very friendly, and the food was tasty as well. Had the Black Truffle menu and i hugh recommend it. Would definitely revisit the place to try other dishes. It was a pleasant environment for a birthday celebration

Dining experience at Alba was superb. I was there for a company Christmas dinner with my colleagues and the service was exquisite, food was to die for. Very happy customer and will return!

Good food and atmosphere. Excellent service. Degustation menu looks like it’d be value for money but be warned that portion sizes are very generous. A good night out.

Went to Alba 1836 for Valentines Day dinner. We've been before and were previously happy with the food and service. Nothing much has changed. Food and service all very good - overall a very nice evening

For starters. we ordered Tajima Wagyu beef carpaccio. For mains, we had the Home made fresh tagliolini with Maine lobster, Sicilian tomatoes and fresh oregano and the Grilled USA beef prime grade certified black angus rib eye (380Gr) served with home made fried potatoes. The ribeye was to die for! Not cheap at $60 but it was a large piece and oh so good and tender and flavourful. We would come back again just for the steak! Service was average and the table cloths were wet (probably just had been sprayed). They had to be changed after we highlighted to the staff.

Staff was very attentive and made sure that our requests were attended to. I pre-ordered a birthday cake surprise for my friend and they took effort to hide it frm my friend and even sang the birthday song! Food was awesome! Never tasted better risotto! Thanks!

Good venue for a corporate lunch meeting. The lunch set menu is priced very reasonably. We liked the wine the waiter recommended too. Will definitely visit again.

Service is great with a great private place to catch up with friends. Good advice on pairing of wines with food. My friends have enjoyed the hot chocolate cake, a must for desert. Recommend cold cuts for starters.

Food was good especially the starters. For mains, I had the lamb loin. I didn't find it great as the sides that is to compliment the meat was disappointing and the meat itself was just bland, so it may have needed to be paired differently. My friends were happy with their food. Service was good but I was disappointed when they wrongly charged us twice the amount of wine we had. They adjusted it back out once we told them.

Last week celebrate my wife birthday, staff prepare birthday song and sing the birthday together. Good service, food also good, environment nice, next time will go again

Great ambience and very friendly owners. We liked the pretty much everything. Wine selection is good and value for money. Menu is extensive and the food was really tasty. Love it!

Highly personal service. Great atmosphere and delightful food. I'd recommend this restaurant for both dates and business dinners. The staff over-did it on the confirmation of our reservation (called me 4 times to confirm), but aside from that, everything was perfect.

Cozy restaurant, friendly and helpful staff with good recommendations. Convenient location, Carpark at Craig Place just a short walk away. We enjoyed the freshness of the Maine lobster pasta and the pan fried sea bass.

Fantastic! Everything booked through Quandoo went through smoothly without a hitch. Nice place for dinner, and we had a great time. Thanks Quandoo for making everything so pain-free! :)

Restaurant wasn't well staffed. 1) had to remind the wait staff to top up our water and bring our bread (even then, they brought the wrong bread). 2) had to request twice for butter. 3) at the end of the lunch, one waiter had to ask us again which wine we had because apparently they forgot and couldn't bill us. Food was pretty ok for lunch and the wait staff polite. Hope that the service would improve.

This excellent Italian restaurant also has one of the nicest alfresco dining in Singapore, under a large old tree and surrounded by beautiful shophouses on Duxton Hill, combined with excellent service

Excellent food, and service. Wine recommmendation was excellent. Great restaurant to have a romantic date. Had the pasta with white ruffles, steak, tuna tartar, and two bottles of red wine.

The Owner Matthew was awfully pleasant and chatty while we were in wait for our appetizer to kick off our Christmas eve dinner, as well as knowledgeable in both the menu and wine when I requested for his recommendations. The restaurant was chic and the staff were smiley and attentive. Definitely a restaurant with the service that deserves the dollars for a return :)

Great food, lovely setting, impeccable service. We tried the seven course tasting menu and every one was good but our favorites were the two pasta dishes. We will definitely be going there again and will recommend it to friends.

A lovely modern restaurant with a quiet ambience to it. Service was excellent and the food extremely tasty. Tables are spaced a fair distance so it is more private. There is also a private dining room if you are having a function. Good wine selection too!

I had excellent food and service in an fresh and elegant space, pretty rich choice of french and italian wines, refined menu with quite innovative dishes.

Good customer service and so does the food. Waiting time is expecting abit long, it has been my second time coming to this restuarant during special occasion, I recommand for those who loves fine dining to enjoy their time here.
