Ah Orh Seafood Restaurant

The restaurant is very run down with a strange smell inside the air con section. So we sat outside. We had a clay pot fish head, $45.00. Fish portion was very little. Do not see the head also. Lastly we were the only customer when we were there for one hour.

Great food as always and we managed to order the roast chicken!

Amazing food and good service. We ordered crispy chicken, seafood hor fun, chye poh kway teow, teochew duck, pork jelly, garlic steam prawns, orh nee, sharks fin, and pork knuckle. I liked everything except the last two mentioned. We usually walk in when in smaller group, but i booked this time cos big group. will keep coming back. The flavouring of the food was wonderfully balanced. For us, the star dishes are the teochew kway teow and stew duck. being teochew ourselves, we find that these two dishes highlight the best of teochew crusine.

Great Teochew cuisine, the signature dishes were yummy, steamed fish was value for money too.

It was a farewell lunch amongst colleagues. We ordered the braised duck, oyster omelette and steamed fish, and finished with mashed yam pudding dessert. All were very very good. Wonderful value < $150 per 4 pax.

My first trip to Ah Orh Seafood Restaurant. Ambience very nostalgic, back to the sixty, I love it. Food is very flavorful plus reasonable price. I highly recommend Ah Orh Seafood Restaurant to everyone who love Authentic Teochew Cusine.

Seating is mostly indoors with aircon; Food quality is not bad; white pomfret was fresh and I’d definitely recommen Service was quick and efficient.

Dishes were served pretty fast. Food is fresh although braised duck is a bit salty for my taste.

Overall the food we ordered was good! Tried the pork jelly dish for the first time! Teochew duck, kway tiao, cold crab, pork belly and orh nee was the few fav items. Just a bit disappointed with the chilli crab sauce- quite blend imo but the crab was fresh and the sambal lala which lack some oomph..but fresh lala

The price is acceptable but the dishes served had too much starchy gravy. The braised duck had a layer of belly pork to make the dish looked bigger. The chestnut braised chicken had hardly any chestnuts. Only the steam promfret was good and liked by the diners. The oyster egg was good but it was too small a serving. The yam bisket pork ribs were too boney with little meat.

Brought my elderly parents for dinner since remembered my dad brought me for lunch 30 years ago along Eu Tong Sen (hawker centre). Assigned table with a/C, service not bad

Standout dishes were the oyster omelette, teochew kway teow, orh nee. What really made this an unforgettable experience was the friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Felt like you are dining over at someone's home

My last visit was in July 2024, and this visit was for a birthday celebration. The dishes were delicious, and the staff was very friendly and attentive.

Classic teochew dishes, love the steamed pomfret, fish maw soup and braised duck/pork!

We had our regular group gathering at Ah Orh n it was an excellent choice. The food quality n quantity were fantastic, tasted so great as Teochew food should. The steamed ikan kurau tail was perfectly done. Other 7 dishes also perfect. Service was prompt too. Keep it up.

Old school place with great taste! Love the nostalgic taste, food prepared with so much sincerity we can feel it in our guts.
