The Cliff
The Cliff is situated next to the Sofitel Pool and our boardwalk, where guests can take 132 steps down to Tanjong Beach.
Chef de Cuisine Chef Paolo Benedet, a native of Pordenone, Italy and now based in Singapore for over 10 years, brings his culinary expertise to The Cliff, with a focus on Southern Italian cuisine.
These dishes are authentic and rarely found in Singapore:
Paccheri di Gragnano, which is accompanied by Braised Beef Ragout, Smoked Scamorza Cheese & Lemon Rosemary Gremolata. Paccheri, the type of pasta, comes from Gragnano, a Southern Italian commune renowned for making dried pasta for hundreds of years.
The Spaghetti alla Puttanesca, comprises Sun-dried Tomatoes, Olives, Capers, Pine Nuts & Light Tomato Sauce – ingredients essential to Mediterranean cooking. Suitable for vegetarians.
Chef Paolo has also reinvented our signature The Cliff Tiramisu by using his family's recipe - adding a personal touch to your dining experience.

Produce from Garden by the Sea, our in-house farm, are harvested for use in the kitchen. At The Cliff, it includes herbs such as basil, rosemary and lemons from our Lemon Trees Garden. Chef Paolo also sources locally or sustainably farmed ingredients to use in his dishes, such as the Herb-roasted Sustainably Farmed Barramundi & Vegetable Ratatouille.
The Cliff has 2 Private Dining Rooms, making it ideal for corporate events, weddings and dinners. Be it a cocktail reception or a set meal, our chefs can create customised menus for the occasion.
At the outdoor deck every evening from 5pm to 7pm, diners can take in views of the sunset in the horizon as they partake in the Sunset Aperitivo, with a choice of free-flowing house wine, draught beer, and Prosecco along with a platter of canapés. The Sunset Aperitivo is priced at $98++ per person.
