A very cosy and quaint joint, the food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Portions are slightly small but can't complain for the price! Dishes I would highly recommend : roasted pork belly fennel, golden crispy seafood in semolina crumb and the special of the day - lobster bisque risotto. The service was excellent as well , I would definitely return to this restaurant!

I heard rave reviews from several Facebook friends so I wanted to try it. It's hard to get last minute reservations and not all the times are given out to Quandoo, you may have to call the restaurant directly sometimes. I finally managed a reservation on Quandoo yesterday. The place was packed, Tables are placed very close together ( about 20cm apart) and it's very hard to have a proper conversation, perhaps because we were sitting under the speakers and there was loud music playing, I could hear the neighbouring tables more than my own family. Service was efficient and food was served hot and quickly ( I was surprised such a small open kitchen could cope with such a large number of diners). There were 4 of us and not enough space on the table for our food! We had the roast pork belly - very tender but the crackling was not as crispy as our local siew yoke! We also had the calamari skewers - not very tasty even though they were smothered in a pesto and tomato sauce. The tagolini with lemon and prawns tasted overwhelmingly of asparagus, none of us liked it. The roast chicken was huge and came dripping with juice, It was tasty and tender. The beer braised beef was melt in your mouth tender and tasty. The assorted pizza platter arrived at the end and they were hot, with a thick crispy on the outside chewy on the inside Napolitian style thick crust with lots of cheese, flavours and ingredients. I'm more a thin crust pizza person - so didn't like it as much. 2 of us say we would be back, personally I think I'll go to Pepperoni Pizza next time.

Lovely place, lovely service, lovely people. Great service hosted by an Italian lady, gave great recommendations and explained the food they had to offer with much details, although I've to admit I got lost in her accent several times. A pity we didn't get to try much since it was only a party for two and the food is pretty filling. I'd recommend the schiaciatta, porchetta and the lovely biscottis available at the bakery, truly a true blue, rare Italian dining experience! Downside is that the menu had zero pictures so it's difficult to know what to expect, local service crew barely knows anything about the food, and almost always had to seek help from the Italians for explanations, Also the lamb ragout pasta and truffle and mascarpone schacchiata was really rich in flavoring and very much of a one taste dish, so it can be really too much for two to share, would encourage people to bring more friends along and order more food to share!! ;)

The seating is too cramped. Too many tables too close together and the noise levels when the restaurant is full is very loud. You cannot have a proper conversation without having to raise your voice. Food was good and served on time. The wait staff were okay but could do with more training. A few times, in the middle of speaking to them, they would turn away even before I was done. The place experienced 3 black outs due to loss of power when I was there. I was here on a weekday and have patronized this place 8 times in the past 24 months. Could improve.

Service was prompt, efficient, and they were ever ready to assist with any questions. The food was delicious, cooked by authentic Italian chefs and one of them on passing by our table paused to suggest how to eat the dish to enjoy the fullest taste. We found it worth the value. The only not so good experience for me was the caffe latte, but dessert more than made up for it. Yums! Will be back for more even though I live in the Far East of Singapore!

Restaurant was fully booked when we were there for lunch on Sunday. Place is very popular on weekends so make your reservations early! Although restaurant was full, service was prompt and staff friendly. The roman shiacciata was to die for. The special pork belly for the day was awesome too. Also ordered the risotto and lasagna. Preferred the lasagna over the risotto. Price was worth it: $241 for Assorted pizza (M), pork belly, schiacciata, lasagna, risotto, desserts (tiramisu, strudel, choc cake) and a bottle of pinot noir. All for 6 adults and 3 little ones.

Wow! The service tremendously improved. The Chef Anna even called me before I paid the visit to let me know what can I have in this restaurant to avoid the allergen. From the stuffed roman schiacciata with oozing mascarpone cream and strong truffle taste/smell to the seafood guazzetto that contained salmon, calamari and scallop- YUMMMM. Savoured the moment. ❤️❤️❤️ #rocambolesco 🙇🏿‍♀️🙇🏿‍♀️🙇🏿‍♀️ I'm planning to go back very soon!
