Committed to providing the sweet teeth of Singapore with quality, Taiwanese-style desserts, Xiang Dessert & Food is a specialist in fun, delicious, yet healthy sweet treats. Not just that, as the name makes clear, Xiang also offer a variety of Taiwanese savoury dishes and snacks, all cooked using traditional ingredients and methods to deliver flavour that’s unique. You’ll find Xiang Dessert & Food on Upper Thomson Road, not far at all from MacRitchie Park and reservoir.
As Xiang Dessert & Food is near enough equally focussed on, well, dessert and food, we’ll go ahead and break down what you can expect from each side of the menu. As we said, the sweet teeth of Singapore and, specifically, Upper Thomson have lots to be thankful for here. Xiang offer hot and cold desserts, Taiwanese-style snow ice and lots of sweet drinks. The mango tango snow ice is one not to miss, much like the sesame & almond paste and the lava mochi with red bean.
On to savoury, and the Taiwanese delicacies here are extremely hard to resist. Try the herbal chicken soup, the fried shaky mushroom or the Taiwanese fried dumplings. Oh, and don’t forget to try the combo mee sua or combo binton – both are a feast! On Upper Thomson Road, Xiang Dessert & Food is a unique Singapore dining experience and it’s definitely worth reserving a table in advance.
