Woody Family Cafe is a great place for family and friends to chill out with its cosy alfresco ambience settings and a feeling of a cafe within a home environment. It has a capacity to cater up to 70 pax for events.
Woody Family Cafe established its first outlet on 19th September 2009, along Andrews Avenue, providing home-cooked Fusion Peranakan & Western cuisine with desserts & cocktails.
Founders, husband and wife team, Sam & Jenny strived from scratch with a meagre sum of investment squeezing every cent, sometimes with only one meal each day and at times without meals even to the extent of selling their flats, Sam's precious guitars and even Jenny's jewellery to fulfil their passion. With determination and perseverance, both owners strived hard from early dawn till late wee nights to build up their dream of having a simple and humble business to call their own.
Wonderfully quaint bar & resto, with that laid back "cheers" atmosphere! Good vibes with great peranakan dishes as well!! Love the music as well!!! ;)
I enjoyed the day with my family and the ambience was right.
the food were excellent and great. This is the best place we ever had for peranakan food. mostly desserts were their own creation and bake by themselves. taste really great. will definitely go again though the price was a bit steep (above average).
Food was nice. have been going there with colleagues for gathering. Price is abit high though.but overall is good. Will bring family members there to eat
The ambience is good, and although there is no aircon, the fans were strong enough so you won't feel too warm. We ordered the Peranakan Set and the Buffalo Wings + Satay Set. Felt that the Nonya chap chye was too salty and the Devil's Curry (Fish) had too strong curry powder taste. The other dishes in the Peranakan Set were ok. The wings and satay are ok too!
Friendly waitresses. Cozy environment. Great curry and wings. It is indeed a rare gem in the north. Do ask for free wifi as the reception for 4g isnt good. Will sure revisit this place again.
Nice and cosy restaurant. Friendly staff, good food. Good place to have a quiet dinner with love ones or close friends. Near to Sembawang park, can go for a walk after a good dinner.
Food is marvelous with a unique taste of its own & the ambient is nice too! They have recently come out with kids menu which my kids enjoyed! nice place for family dinning.
Food is good and maintained its standard, just that alot of favorite dishes are no longer ala carte such as assam pork knuckles. Staff is not as friendly as before, am not sure issit because of the public holiday so too busy
Very tranquil setting with good food. Those who drive will appreciate this dining experience. For those who don't, it might be a tad out of the way.
