Made a reservation for iftar and arrived promptly at 6:30pm. Placed orders at about 7:00pm. Food was very delayed and 1st dish was served at 7:45pm - A cold soggy plate of truffle fries. We asked the server for some chilli sauce and mayonnaise and was replied with a confused nod. It took another 20mins before the sauces was brought to the table. Worst, the rest of the food (maincourses) was served staggeredly and cold around 8:30pm onwards. 1. Egg for the Nasi Lemak was dry and over fried. Ayam berempah was undercooked and rice was cold. 2. Tom Yum Vermicelli did not taste of Tom Yum and was very sour. Tastes like Fried mee siam TBH. 3. Squid for the risotto was undercooked, bland and without any stuffing. The asparagus was overcooked, no crunch and looked just like long strips of beansprouts. 4. Seafood Aglio Olio was bland and pasta was also undercooked. 5. The battered calamari to share was inconsistent in size, soggy and bland. 6. The tartare sauce for the Fish & Chips was just smeared on the plate for decorative purpose and was not sufficient for the piece of cold fillet. 7. ALL the food was cold, not even lukewarm. 8. As a muslim owned establishment, the least they could do was to tune the radio a few minutes before Azan maghrib. But no, some english tunes were playing and was changed only when the Azan was in its 3rd sentence. With due respect, we understand that it is Ramadhan and the staff also needs to break their fast but, it could have been handled better and not at the expense of the customer. Ironically, a table of 4 diners, that came after us, was served before us and was already having their dessert when our food started arriving. Been an avid supporter of Walaku but this is a huge disappointment and definitely a far cry from their days over at Bedok coffee shop. To end it off, no apology was offered and the staff seemed oblivious to our frustration and dismay. Coming from someone who manages a restaurant in a luxury hotel, I know the challenges of the F&B industry and this is not acceptable at any standards. Unfortunately, this will be the last my family and I patronise Walaku. May I suggest a name change to Taklaku, since they have to garner audience through aggressive social media influencing, instead of actually providing good service and quality food?

This is my 2nd time dining there. Food is nice but their waiting time for the food to be serve sucks. I ordered Murtabak Manis but it only got served as I was at the counter paying which was almost 2hrs after! I almost did not want to take the food but I didnt want to create a fuss, I took t and left. Note to the service staff: I saw that you were preparing a big orderr for the Murtabak Manis, it will nice if the other takers will highlight that waiting time for the item will take at least 1hr or more! I could have just skip the other and choose another dessert!!

Had lunch for 11 people, generally the food served were good. The disappointing part is they served thousand island sauce for the steak! We expected a decent sauce! Suggest don’t try any of the steaks as it’s not worth it.

Place quite warm and cramp. Didn't feel the aircon so felt very stuffy. Staff not friendly and lack of initiative. Shell-out 2 sets... the portion is very small.

Everything was perfect! Food, customer service, ambiance. Throughout all my 3 visits, the staffs displayed the same attitude (friendly, jovial) which make our presence appreciated. Truly in love with their service as well as the awesome food! Thank you Walaku.

Did not like air fresher which was over powering during the visit within an enclosed aircon place.

Thew food were pretty good. Air conditioning could have been stronger when the restaurant is running full house. Good effort though.
