About Villa Venezia
Venezia is the Italian name for the city of Venice, and while The Wirral is also by the sea (and Tranmere Rovers are as useless as Venezia’s squadra calcio) there aren’t many obvious comparisons that can be drawn between Birkenhead and the north-east of Italy. Head to Venezia Restaurant on Prenton Road in Prenton – right by Prenton Park, incidentally – and you might, however, change your mind. They offer a taste of Venice that is not to be missed, with a menu that is filled with Italian favourites that the whole family can enjoy, with a huge range of pizzas, pastas and mains. We’d recommend the veal alla Venezia, escalopes breaded and topped with cheese, parma ham and bolognese sauce, or for the truly ravenous, the leg of lamb al forno, roasted in orange and honey. Book your table now and head to Venezia for a taste of the bel paese in Birkenhead.Go to Villa Venezia Page
Fantastic food and service would recommend this is a family run business and they make a lot of effort to make you feel welcome that is a rare thing
Really enjoyed our meal. It is the place to go if you like traditional Italian food and surroundings. Definitely recommend booking as I have been on different days and it is always busy. Staff are friendly and helpful
Fantastic from staff polite well mannered, customer service, food delicious, and great variety of drinks. Best Italian restaurant on the Wirral. Have been going here 26 years.
Good food Good service Pleasant atmosphere Highly recommend A great place you wouldn't know was there. A beautiful Italian restaurant Reasonable prices Ideal for couples or parties.
Excellent , always a good evening at Venezia ,good food, excellent service and family friendly. Always worth the 1 hr round trip from Chester to dine at Villa Venezia and on line booking makes booking a table easy and quick.
Food quality mostly very good. We had a variety of dishes between us all & most were satisfied with their meal. Cramped seating unfortunately, booked a table for 8 but was seated at a table for 6, so elbows getting in each other's way. Used to eat here on a regular basis, haven't been for years. Would go again but not in a large group as the tables are very close.
Slightly frosty reception from one waiter on entering as it was extremely busy (luckily we had a booking) . Waiters were run off feet taking and delivering orders so didn't get to order more drinks and skipped dessert as felt rushed. Have had better calamari and bigger portion for the price but overall enjoyed the pizza and lamb cutlets were amazing. Will definitely return to try something else on the menu.
Lovely friendly service , food excellent and restaurant felt nice and relaxed. Pretty much perfect. Good value for money and we were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived to nice comments from management as we left. Will definitely come again. Ability to pre book a table very important and worked just as it should.
Villa Venezia was lovely........as always ! Great friendly staff and delicious food. Would definitely recommend to groups or couples. Service always excellent and with a smile.
We have been coming here for 20 years and although the menu hasn't changed much over the years, that's what keeps people coming back!! Food is always cooked fresh, they are happy to adapt meals if you need them too and the staff are always very friendly and give great service.
