About Trattoria Amanda
About the restaurant
Immerse yourself completely in all things Italian at Trattoria Amanda. Not your average Italian restaurant, this Tanjong Pagar trattoria strives to provide a truly special ambience and experience reminiscent to what you’d find in Italy. You’ll find the aperitivo session where you can sample some canapés while you relax over a cheeky pre-dinner drink, before an a la carte menu brimming with freshly baked pizzas, pasta cooked just the way it should be and an array of delectable antipasti just waiting to be sampled. Located on Stanley Street, this is one of Singapore’s premium Italian restaurants, and as such, a reservation is recommended to avoid disappointment. Bon Appetito!
Italian culture runs through the veins of Tanjong Pagar’s Trattoria Amanda, and it’s the food that’s the real standout here. The team know eating high quality food is the national pastime of Singapore locals, so there’s no skimping out on high quality ingredients here. You’ll really only find the best. You’d be remiss to overlook the fun of aperitivo here, and we couldn’t recommend Trattoria Amanda’s aperol spritz more highly. Once you’re seated and ready for the main event, kick things off with a romana foccacia to share topped with garlic, oregano and rosemary, a serve of the Italian bruschetta and beef carpaccio with parmigiano, rucola and balsamic.
Then, you’ll need to decide whether you’re in the mood for pasta, risotto, pizza or secondi. In terms of pasta, Trattoria Amanda does an exceptional spaghetti all aragosta, cooked al dente of course with lobster in a tomato base, and a wonderful bolognese that’s just brimming with flavour. In terms of pizza, we can’t get enough of the buffalo margherita topped with fresh basil, tomato and loads of buffalo mozzarella, and the campagnola topped with Italian pork sausage and porcini mushrooms. With plenty more besides, you’ll be in for a treat no matter what you go for at Trattoria Amanda. You’ll find this Singapore favourite on Stanley Street in Tanjong Pagar – what are you waiting for?
