The Red Lion Worcester, set in the picturesque and rural location of Holt Heath, is a rustic country pub that serves up incredible international pub grub. Perched right along Witley Road, The Red Lion has a warm atmosphere and an extensive selection of local ales, beers, spirits and wine. Lunch or dinner at this quaint watering hole looks a little bit like tempura prawns with a sweet chilli dip; baked Camembert with crusty bread and homemade onion chutney; slow-roasted beef brisket served with horseradish mash and seasonal veg or a big steak served with chunky chips, grilled tomato, freshly-fried onion rings, mushroom and salad. Drooling? Us too, so go on and book a table today!
A real taste of the Caribbean in Worcester. Lovely food and friendly staff. Plenty of parking. A great evening. Try the. Sharing board of jerk chicken, pork and prawns We had it for a starter but would make a great lunch
Wow! Real genuine goat curry. I couldn`t even find it this good in London. And it comes in spice levels of mild, medium and hot. But we all know that the descriptions are toned down for the UK market...well these aren`t! I`m a chilly fan, and my friend also loves chilly, so she ordered medium and I ordered hot. Phew! We are both going down one notch next time. But there will be many more "next times". We thought this was a great find, and very fairly priced at £54 total for two, including beers and wine. The service was just perfect: friendly, competent, polite, and they care whether you are really enjoying it. Well done "Red Lion". You deserve to succeed in this competitive world, and you have won our support.
First visit to the red lion but will be returning ... food was excellent and host was informative and and attentive... The bill was less than expected...All in all a nice evening 👍
Great food!! We indulged with starters and mains from the Caribbean menu and would recommend them all. Very relaxed atmosphere with good service. Will definitely be going back again. Thanks

The table was perfect in the window, food was very nice, lots of choice, good menu, I feel it was a touch expensive for what you had but it was very nice and we enjoyed our evening
