environment is nice with good ambient, as well as quiet corner, comfy chair and sofa set provided. but the height seem not really synch with the table, a bit difficult to eat
The fried portobello was not available so we tried the fried button mushroom and fried calamari which turned out to be delicious too . Friendly staff
Great ambience. Food variety has improved since the last time I visited 3 months ago. Reading room is my go-to place for a quiet meal or when I just want to chill over coffee and books
The place is very pretty, but a little too dark. The menu was surprisingly extensive and dinner set was value for money. Worth the visit.
Great atmosphere and if you like novels, the wall of books here won't let you down! Thumbs up for their smoothie too. However the sandwich we had wasn't so satisfying - the bread on the top was a bit too hard and the bottom one was greasy.
Nice place to chill out on a weekend they got plenty of books and an interesting interior. The cafe is a little warm
Went on a Sun and had to wait an hour for my food to be served, clearly understaffed! Place was crowded and noisier than expected, prefers a quieter more peaceful setting.
Nice cozy venue with cool decor however the food was just ok. My friend's bread was so hard that you could knock on it as it was impossible to chew but they were apologetic and changed it to their fish and chips which was way better! The price vs the quality of food doesn't justify.
We have the burrata & wine. Both were really good. Service person was friend though seems he is not very familiar with their menu. Ambience was good for a quiet evening. All was good until a group of 4 came, they were talking too loudly.
Nice ambience and good service. Food was just Ok, nothing to really rave about. They have many shelves packed with books for your reading pleasure
