More about the restaurant: The Peak Bistro
Located slightly north of the central districts, The Peak Bistro is adding to the Singapore foodscape with a myriad of Western, Canto & Indonesian cuisine. Foodies in the know have been waiting for this one, tucked away in Toa Payoh on Mount Pleasant Road because, despite being open for quite a while now, the restaurant was formerly only open to senior police officers. Now, however, you can feast on exceptional Anglo-Chinese cuisine in a picturesque colonial building, which during the evening is an idyllic setting for a romantic evening for two. As you’d expect from a restaurant of this calibre, reservations are absolutely essential.

Thinking about making a The Peak Bistro booking?
The Peak Bisto in Toa Payoh is one of the most exciting additions to the Singaporean foodscape. Set in a charming historic colonial building along Mount Pleasant Road, you’ll find an array of dishes to tingle your taste buds. Expect Western, Canto and Indonesian cuisine from The Peak Bistro’s a la carte menu, and we recommend mixing it up. What we mean is, kick things off with truffle fries, foie gras, deep-fried crispy tofu and the famous fish head curry that’s designed to share. Sound good?
Then, some of our favourite main dishes at The Peak Bistro are, of course, the Chinese abalone steamed rice, claypot braised tofu with salted fish and chicken, beef rendang cooked in local spices and served with steamed rice or the fully-loaded Peak Bistro burger topped with some of the best quality meat you’ll find anywhere in Singapore. With plenty more besides and an enticing set menu as well, you can rest assured that whether you’re after an Asian-style feast or something a little more European, you’ll be in heaven in this Toa Payoh restaurant.
