Given the current climate surrounding COVID-19, many authorities are placing restrictions on social gatherings. In the best interest of everyone’s safety, we are continuously updating the availability of our partner restaurants to reflect these measures. We encourage people to still support the restaurant industry in other ways.Learn how
In Johor Bahru there are a glut of great restaurants but it can still be a struggle to find somewhere suitable for all the family. This is where Marco Polo comes into its own – the kitchen serves Italian and Asian classics in a dining space that is committed to providing its guests with great and affordable food in an atmosphere which is welcoming to big and little diners alike in this Jalan Indah favourite.
The Marco Polo Kitchen is a family restaurant, but that is not to say that the team have abandoned
the concept of chic dining in pursuit of this aim. The truth is quite the opposite, the dining room at
this Jalan Indah eatery is awash of bared brick walls, utilitarian tables and chairs and muted lighting.
The restaurant is contemporary and chic, without making families uncomfortable. The team aims to
provide a wholesome dining experience with excellent food at the best value possible and
they are delivering exactly that consistently.
The area around The Marco Polo Kitchen on Jalan Indah in Johor Bahru straddles an interesting point in the region’s history. The area is newly affluent and this means that the young people have largely Western-orientated palates while the older generation still prefers traditionally Asian dishes. As such, Marco Polo caters to both groups, offering discretely Italian and discretely Asian dishes – meaning it is the obvious choice for families. Marco Polo is open daily from 11.30am (11am at weekends). The restaurant practices a strict no pork, no meat, no alcohol policy.
