About The Elephant @ Scarisbrick

The curry house tradition in the North West of England is as strong as it is anywhere in the United Kingdom, and even small places usually have their own Indian restaurant dutifully serving the local punters. Scarisbrick, on the outskirts of the Liverpool suburb of Ormskirk, is no different, and you can find their dhal dealers in the form of The Elephant on Southport Road, where they dole out delicacies that are sure to delight all you that darken their door, from traditional Indian curries to other, more obscure specialities from Bangladesh, Pakistan and beyond. Book your table now, and while you have only made the journey out to this part of West Lancashire, you will feel like you’ve taken the trip all the way to West Bengal. Although with more Scousers and less tigers. We think.

Beautiful restaurant always clean, Food as always fresh and very tasty. Service however let them down as it was a little slow. Restaurant was very busy but didn't seem to have the staff to cover although the few staff that they did have. Wow you guys did so well being rushed off your feet

Food was fantastic, probably the best Indian I've ever had. The service however let the whole experience down. It all seemed very amateurish. 2 hours for a 2 course meal is probably double the amount of time I'm used to in other restaurants.
