Great location in a booming part of Liverpool. Lovely food and great service. Nice cocktails as well. Would recommend for food or just for a drink.

We were slightly late arriving as booked taxis didn't show. Three of us arrived desperate for the loo, unfortunately only 2 toilets working - one of these a disabled one. 10 minute wait, then dryer wasn't working and no hand towels, had to use loo paper, overflowing waste bin. toilets were pretty awful. Spoke to one of the staff who said they were waiting for workmen. Table was booked for 5.30, we were all seated by 5.40, had to go to bar to request our order be taken. Food was really nice and well presented. Vegan and vegetarian food was very good. Cocktails in teapots great idea, although the vodka one was exceedingly sweet. This was a birthday celebration for my daughter and overall we had an enjoyable evening. Baltic Social is a lovely place {pity about the toilets}, the food was great and the staff were very helpful, smiley and polite. We will return some time (hopefully the toilets will be sorted by then).

The food was really nice and at other afternoon tea places, because there was a odd number of us, we've had to pay for an extra person due to the tea being for 2 but they don't do that. The only downside was the cocktail in the teapots. We have all had the ones we chose before and yet none of us thought it tasted anything like it should, there was none or little alcohol in them and they were full of syrup. There was a large variety of drinks to choose from aside from the afternoon tea cocktails though and the atmosphere, service (in general) and decoration/quirkiness made the whole experience fantastic.

We went on a Thursday evening to celebrate my husband's birthday. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly. We ordered the nachos with ham & apple as a shared starter followed by burgers- 3 with beef brisket & one veggie. All delicious & served promptly. The bar staff were happy to follow my husband' s instructions to mix him a rum cocktail ( he's very particular!) Overall a positive experience & I would be happy to return.

Baltic Social is a trendy place, it was very busy when we arrived and throughout our time there. We booked a table, others hadn't so had to be turned away so my advice would definitely be to book beforehand! I would say it was slightly understaffed but the service was still really good and the staff were really nice. Menu was simple, mainly comprising of sandwiches or burgers where sides cost extra. The food is nice though and reasonably priced, and there's also a decent selection of beers and other drinks available.

It was a good punk afternoon tea but what was dissapointing was that whilst eating there was a constant flow of musicians dragging heavy equipment throgh the venue, shouting to each other what too do, etc etc. The food was nice and staff pleasant but our order fell down the pecking order and groups who had arrived after us were receiving their drinks and food well before us and we had been there a good ten minutes before them. Not sure if I would go again and I'm a very relaxed type of customer who tries to see the best in everything and give somewhere the benefit of the doubt.
