I find the lotus chip to be delicious. Would highly recommend you to get it when you drink the Liang Teh Lager to compliment the taste.
Yummy bar snacks and great sharing plates at this local hangout. Highlights were the braised platter and the tofu. Wished the chicken cartilage had more chilli and kick to it. Would be nice to have more dessert options!
The lotus chips were great and goes perfectly with Blk662 and Peach.
One of the best gastro bar in Singapore. Well-executed modern takes on traditional Teochew flavours at reasonable prices. They also have a delightful range of craft beers brewed in-house. Winners 👉 the braised duck broth in the flat rice noodle dish, Chaoshan braised duck wings, uni & foie gras on otah toast.
decent food, no wait times and decent service. Great for a local bar joint.
Best tiramisu ever! Great service by the staff, awesome food, lovely atmosphere.
Awesome local teochew food! In great tapas size. Ideal for sharing and sampling a lot of different dishes. Great beer as well! Also the apple juice!
Great craft beers and food was not bad.. Service was gd too
The food was pretty good as it was teochew fusion and the chef was very thoughtful to make the portions bigger as we were a party of 8. But, the food was slow to serve and one of our orders did not arrive. Overall, a good place for nibbles and beers but not if you want to have a full meal unless you go for their omakase in advance.
No card payment. Can't expect to carry cash in general to such places.
Gathering of old friends. Place was great to chill out. Would be great if food choice could be wider.
Surprised by the fusion of western and local taste. Nicely done! And beer is good!
I do wish they had a little more variety with the food there. The quantity was rather small for most of the menu items. Food was decent but not too mind blowing.
Nice beers for gathering and good service overall nice expereicne
Yam paste would taste better without the coconut, serve as the original Teochew style.
Servings too big but food taste amazingly good. Beer was super refreshing. Best tiger anytime.
It was a nice place to chill out with unique & tasty dishes. And the pricing was reasonable. But the experience would have been better if the air conditioning was cooling enough.
Good food and beer selection. Recommended place for friends gathering
Although advertised with "all day happy hour"on Sunday, the staff refused to apply happy hour ratings to our bill, claiming this did not apply on a public holiday, even though it was a Sunday. there was no mention of this exception anywhere on the menu or when ordering. Very poor customer service. We will not be back.
Good service but didn’t got the Tomahawk beef due to there was not pre-order reminding on the booking system
Quiet and unassuming, very friendly and informative staff, but, be ready to be disappointed when they are out of their craft beer as they are focused on their expansion
Food was delicious , fresh and well presented . Was a pity there was no 1925 beers , but tap selection was great, look forward to next time!!
Staff friendly, food a bit pricey for portion/tapas at Joo Chiat area. I would have given a better review if food is super good but I find that its moderate... the beef ordered was medium well although wr requests for medium... although there is a slight diffetent but meat waa tough🤔. I am an advocate of no wastage, so did share to staff but refuse to change coz its still edible food. The beer is a bit towards a tinge of sweetness , not so much to my taste bud.
Beer and food were fantastic, but yesterday doesn’t have any dark beer on the tap, but those on the tap were still great! Will go again for their 622!
It's good to try unique craft beer. Ambience so so and cannot expect many variety of side dishes to go with beer. but reasonable price
really decent food, craft beers, suitable for the veggo and meat lovers with a great atmosphere, really helpful wait staff and it's east side. What more could you want?
The service was great. The food was also good. The selection of beer is wide. Parking can be a problem. Overall it was a pleasant dinner we had.
Didnt know that the menu is different from before. Or either, we didnt actually get to look st the menu because it is not available on the website. We actually came for the truffle fries and duck confit but was disappointed when we looked at the menu as nothing really interest us.. Also, we dont think that the food goes that well with the beer too. But of course, others might feel differently but probably not a place for me and my friend.
Friendly staff, good food. Expecting more varieties of local beers please! - Yellow Van - die die must try - 622 - don't miss this black
Fantastic food with an amazing array of tasty beers. The food has an interesting twist to it. Especially the duck ..... the meat just falls off the bone! Totally Yummylicious!!!!
Great beer at reasonable price! But we were seated near to the kitchen which is not comfortable given the heat and aircond is not cooling.
Serves good beer and very interesting contemporary Chinese tapas that goes very well with the beer as well . Boss of restaurant is friendly .
