Tenryu Japanese Dining

Hidden gem in the estate. Friendly staff and fast food preparation. Yummy, except the chicken karaage was little too salty for me. Reasonable price too!

Walking distance from Hill view MRT station. Friend and i try Tori katsu bento, Sake bento and katsu curry, can say not that great. But the Gyoza and tenryu maki was nice. Good place for dinning.

Had the tenryu maki, unagi don, tori karge and dumplings. It was yummy! Damage was $66 so the no gst and service charge certainly helped !

Thumb up for the food and services. If can have better direction to the restaurant it would be easy for public to locate the place.

Food was decent ; interior could do with a bit brighter and warmer lighting, instead of the white light used. The service was attentive.. a new waiter was being trained, and much as I understand that training was in progress, his trainer was a bit loud and was barking instructions/corrections a bit too loudly (but fortunately not rudely)... Felt that it was not so good to be within earshot of customers; perhaps the trainer himself needed a little training in situational awareness. :-)

Although the place was not those high end restaurant, but the food was fantastic and the sashimi was very fresh. Will surely recommend others and go again.

The tea was served too cold. Maybe they should improve on this, other than that, the food are not bad. Opening hour maybe should extend to 10pm instead of 930pm. Cheers

Love tenryu's homely vibe and yummy food. It's also very accessible to hillview mrt by foot, but make sure you check their fb for video directions! Visitor parking is also ample (though prob the residents won't be too happy about this). I enjoyed my visit and will bring my parents next time. :)

Food was nice, easy to find and carpark friendly. The downside of the place was old and vandilation of the place needs to improve. The pricing of the food was not as cheap compared to others, except that they don't charge you GST n Services.

Good food, good selection, at very reasonable prices. Courteous and attentive staff. The restaurant has a homely ambience set in a tranquil environment and parking was a breeze.

The restaurant is quite deep into the estate. Will be good to have signage to show the direction. Charashi Don and grilled cheese salmon + udon tasted good, but the softshell crab portion were small and tasteless. The restaurant is a good place to relax and chill out.

Family run restaurant with very homely vibes and good food! Free parking within the condo!

Service crew was attentive thru out the session and friendly. Food wise is decent for the price. Location wise not far from hillview MRT, can reach within walking distance of 8 mins.

i have been looking for jap food for v day on that day and i found this restaurant which is near my office. the place is quite isolated but manage to get there after research on facebook. the place is quite crowd but the serving of food don't consider slow and the food is good and also the portion is quite decent.
