chirashi is off the menu at a whopping $180+++ per bowl excl tax and service , although it has some sliver of fresh sashimi, it just doesn't justify the exorbitant high price . Wasn't impress with the McCormick bottle at the counter , would expect some better quality. Maybe this place caters more for deeper pockets. Service is good and attentive but with local canton flavor since most of the chefs are non japanese.
Fresh and good omakase. A treat for a special occasion
Food was good but not overwhelmingly tasty. Told server at the door that it’s my husband’s birthday but no special gestures talked about by others. For the price of aburi set, I’ve tasted way better Omakase. $320 for 2 pax cos I added wagyu sushi which was $25/pc no less. Certainly not a place for birthday celebrations given the busy lunch hour or a fine experience.
