Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and portions were larger than we expected.

We like the ambience of the cafe, comfortable and a good place to chill and chit chat with friends. However, we were quite disappointed that a couple of items on the menu were not available (the staff explained that the cafe was crowded for the past couple of days so some of the ingredients ran out). The food were alright in general, the coffee was also okay, but i will not recommend the Spam Fries which were kind of dry and nothing like Fries, just pieces of Spam.

Overall a quaint little cafe that opens up for dinner as well. Eclectic music playlist when we were there and we were thoroughly amused. Food wise, mains were better than average, of the 4 we had the pork belly risotto, mentaiko mac & cheese and grilled sea bass stood out. The rosti wasn't impressive. The risotto was extremely flavourful and the stock they used was really savoury, mac & cheese wise best to share it as it can get too cloying and rich. For the sea bass, a simple execution andd perfectly grilled lending to firm and flaky flesh. For desserts, we had the berry waffle and were disappointed for the price point paid that we only had half a waffle presented although they were very generous with their scoop of ice cream. Still a nice place to hang out and have a conversation with your friends while enjoying the mains.

We like the atmosphere and location. Paid about $150+ for 4 pax, the main dishes like pasta weren't what we expected to be as it's not up to our likings. The chicken, mentaiko fries and mint chocolate are good!
