Rakuichi Sushi in Singapore sets the bar high for fresh sushi and superb Japanese cuisine. Located at Greenwich V shopping centre on Seletar Road, this spot is where to go if you love all-things Japan. The focus here is on traditional Japanese cuisine made using authentic ingredients and bold flavours, but you’ll also find a few modern interpretations on the menu. Are you a bit of a risk-taker? Then order Rakuichi Sushi’s fugu mirin boshi – that’s marinated and dried puffer fish known for being poisonous when not cooked correctly (don’t worry, in the right hands, this pufferfish is totally safe to eat). Go for one of the restaurant’s tasty truffle carpaccios, get okamase chosen by the chef, or get a succulent wagyu steak. You’re going to love this spot, so head over to see what you’ve been missing!
The Tempura Udon Soup was tasteless although the Tempura Ebi was delicious. The Salmon Belly n Ikura Don was good but a tad too sweet. Service is not fantastic as there seems to be insufficient servers but again at certain hours, this outlet is rather empty, so I guess the restaurant can’t afford to employ too many waitresses!! Will return after a long time as there isn’t much to want to return to the restaurant soon 😰
Food’s good and service is very good. A little pricey during dinner. Overall good experience but Just a recommendation to put less sauce or no sauce on the aburi sushi set as the sauce overwhelms the sushi.
Nice food, ambience was quiet.. . Didn’t had to wait long despite peak hours. Yakitori platter was awesome. Will definetely go back again. Thank you
