Rack & Dollar
About Rack & Dollar
An American-inspired restaurant on Liverpool’s Berry Street Rack & Dollar is home to food challenges, massive portions and the friendliest service around. Taking inspiration from the huge servings of grub so common in the United States, Rack & Dollar serves classic comfort food items with a gourmet twist. Situated in Liverpool’s city centre, at the foot of the Ropewalks and on the edge of the historic Georgian Quarter, Rack & Dollar is convenient for lucky Liverpudlians visiting from across the city.Go to Rack & Dollar Page
Liverpool locals who love pigging out will be pleased to know that there’s a new American restaurant in town, and it’s central, too. Rack & Dollar, whose steaks, wings, ribs and burgers have already made the restaurant famous throughout the city, is the ultimate place to chow down in the city centre’s buzzing Ropewalks precinct. If you like your food fried and can appreciate a giant portion, you’ll fall in love with Rack & Dollar. And considering how amazing everything tastes, the prices are incredibly affordable.
One of the biggest draws of this American-style restaurant is the fact that you can build your very own burger. Go crazy with your own toppings, cheeses and sauces – simply ask your server what choices are available. Rack & Dollar also offers some serious breakfast options ranging from classic steak and eggs to salmon or ham bagels. Desserts are one of the restaurant's strong points, and you can choose from sweet American classics like New York cheesecake and pecan pie. Don’t forget to book in advance to secure a spot at this popular restaurant on Liverpool’s Berry Street, at the frayed end of the famous Ropewalks!
Food was great and the service was excellent, everything came our quickly and waiters were very friendly! Hope to return to the restaurant soon, a unique place to meet with friends.
Brilliant best reastraunt ive been too food was amazing every person in there was just chilled out tvs everywhere so you dont miss a peep
Nice place. Good food. Chilled atmosphere. Staff very helpful. Would go back again in the future. 10/10. Music could be slightly improved I suppose
build a burger went down really well, all good ingredients. Got some good deals with the wings and cocktails Good service, friendly, polite and prompt.
Great food great atmosphere, slightly short staffed on bar sondrinks can take longer than the food. No one to meet us at door had to stand for a long time waiting to be seated and then had to search out staff. But apart from that a great venue for eating, sports and drinks...oh and pool if you can be arsed.
Had a lovely meal in Rack and Dollar, service was great, food was great and the shakes are amazing! There was a relaxed atmosphere which made for an enjoyable meal. Will definitely be coming back
The food was very good , 3 of us had create you own burger - which unfortunately 2 had been mixed up and had to go back; however when they came back they were perfect. The 4th person had the nacho chill and said it was ok. Our reservation was at 6.30, following the end of the rugby the music only got louder - it was not the place to go for a catch up with friends. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The cost was reasonable
Went to rack n dollar on 2nd January and was not disappointed staff were very helpful and friendly wide range and choice of food I was late for breakfast I thought but it was served till 2 o clock along with mains so overall experience I highly recommend a visit and will be going again
This place would be excellent for a group of people on a night out. We didn't realise it was more of a bar than a restaurant. Food was fab and service was fantastic but it's definitely not somewhere to take your mum for dinner on a Friday night, very loud music played throughout. Let me stress, this isn't a criticism, the bar is excellent, just don't go there expecting a more restaurant environment, it's all about the party vibes.
Really enjoyed our visit to Rack and Dollar in Liverpool. Good atmosphere. Good food. Great service. Would definitely visit again on our next visit to Liverpool.
