Situated within The Fullerton Hotel, in a building that used to be the transaction hall of the General Post Office, Singapore’s Post Bar oozes an old-fashioned elegance, the perfect backdrop for a glamorous night out with the girls out or for a special date. As well as a trendy bar and restaurant area, Post Bar boasts a private music room, where you can unwind to the soundtrack of New world music, as well as an outdoor garden area, perfect for a spot of al fresco dining.
Pair your drinks with some small bar snacks like the blackened tuna spring rolls with miso mustard mayonnaise or the grilled lamb kebab, or go for something larger like the seared herb-crusted salmon steak served with silky mashed potatoes, grilled seasonal vegetables and miso emulsion. The cocktail list is equally as mouth-watering, with options like the Fullerton Hairpin, a fusion of pineapple and cranberry juice, vodka, midori, peach schnapps and grenadine syrup. As one of the hottest hangouts in Singapore’s Raffles Place area, Post Bar on Fullerton Square is known to get busy. Beat the crowds and book ahead!
This is a great location to bring out clients, office colleagues etc. The ambience is a good mix of being formal and easy at the same time. The choice of drinks is terrific and gets better owing to happy hours. Finger food can do well with bit of more additions and choice.
