Relaxed, lugubrious and epicurean is the tempo and mood that presides over Pasta Brava’s Craig Road restaurant, a neighbourhood ristorante well known to Tanjong Pagar locals and aficionados of Italian cuisine from across Singapore. Start naturally, naturally, with Pasta Brava’s fresh anitipasti platters – olives and grilled vegetables, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh baked Italian breads – a sociable way to share in the beginning of an authentic Italian meal with family and friends.
Salads are next, some of which can suffice as a fresh and healthful meal all in themselves, others best picked at alongside Pasta Brava’s delicious and generously apportioned pasta and risotto dishes and main courses of meat, fish and vegetables. Making the most of Singapore’s easy access to a wealth of seafood, we recommend the mixed seafood linguine regina del mare, with prawns, clams, scallops, squid and crayfish. Other delectable maritime delights can be found in the simple prawns sauteed in butter and brandy with plenty of garlic and parsley, or the oven-baked scallops in a variation on the French bechamel. Squid ink spaghetti with vongole, clams, is another striking addition to this Tanjong Pagar Italian restaurant’s offering. As always with Italian restaurants in Singapore, we like to recommend, if we can, the house tiramisu as an endgame-measure of the overall dining experience. Food was delicious ! And their serving was just nice too. Great recommendation by staff, even helped me get half portions for my ravioli ! Will return again for other dishes !
Service was very good and I really enjoyed the food. Waiter even offered to help make request to the kitchen to change the dishes accordingly to what my friend wanted. Really worthwhile.
We ordered the Rustichella d'abruzzo al granchio e bottarga and Stracci al gamberi e capesante and the Panna Cotta and Lava al cioccolato for dessert. All of the dishes were very well done and worth their price :)
service was good. ordered sauteed scallop (appetizer), mushroom soup, asparagus soup, carbonara (main), seafood linguine (main), fungi risotto (main), tiramisu, chocolate lava cake. special mentions to carbonara, risotto and lava cake. will go back to try more menu.
Food was good but portions slightly smaller for the price we paid. Didn’t realise that the last order was 2.30pm for weekend lunch but food was served quite quickly. Had to ask for the bread before being served.
enjoyed our food a lot, food portions kinda smallbut great staff! i had the spinach ravioli, but my friend got the canneloni and it looked amazing. dessert also good, friend and I shared a cheese plate (would recommend).
Very well service! Friendly staffs and even a complimentary birthday cake. Thank you for the lovely surprise! Also, great food. Especially the linguine was very well cooked. The environment was cosy and smells every bit of Italian. Recommended!
Good service. Waiter was attentive. Never failed to refill our ice water timely and food does not take long to be served. Food was good. Overall very satisfied with the food and service. Will definitely be back again.
great, homely italian food!! loved it. The burrata cheese with warm, toasted bread made me fall in love even more. The portion of pasta could be a tad bit larger though.
Prosciutto di parma- very sweet melon and ham is good! Pasta with squid ink sauce was delicious! molten chocolate cake and tiramisu - very well done. These are the must try!
