Pasta Brava ‘s homely restaurant is split over two levels, necessary when the weekend’s hordes of diners clamour for tables – this is one of the city’s most beloved Italian joints, a restaurant whose classically-structured menu is as seasonal and colourful as those you find back in the old country.
In Italy, a meal begins at the beginning, and is liable to continue for a good few hours. Relaxed, lugubrious and epicurean is the tempo and mood that presides over Pasta Brava’s Craig Road restaurant, a neighbourhood ristorante well known to Tanjong Pagar locals and aficionados of Italian cuisine from across Singapore. Start naturally, naturally, with Pasta Brava’s fresh anitipasti platters – olives and grilled vegetables, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh baked Italian breads – a sociable way to share in the beginning of an authentic Italian meal with family and friends.
Salads are next, some of which can suffice as a fresh and healthful meal all in themselves, others best picked at alongside Pasta Brava’s delicious and generously apportioned pasta and risotto dishes and main courses of meat, fish and vegetables. Making the most of Singapore’s easy access to a wealth of seafood, we recommend the mixed seafood linguine regina del mare, with prawns, clams, scallops, squid and crayfish. Other delectable maritime delights can be found in the simple prawns sauteed in butter and brandy with plenty of garlic and parsley, or the oven-baked scallops in a variation on the French bechamel. Squid ink spaghetti with vongole, clams, is another striking addition to this Tanjong Pagar Italian restaurant’s offering. As always with Italian restaurants in Singapore, we like to recommend, if we can, the house tiramisu as an endgame-measure of the overall dining experience. Pasta Brava serves really good food. The waitress and waiter there are also Super friendly and the environment is really wonderful. Thumbs up!!! Will visit again :)
I enjoyed my first experience here, the waiter was very knowledgeable on the menu. I love the variety of pasta you can have here and how some of them is house made. Food is TOP notch , though it is quite pricey. However not all the waiters will be as friendly. Some waitresses don't smile at all and you don't feel welcomed here
The food and staff members at Pasta Brava never disappoints. The staff members were courteous and attentive. I have been visiting this restaurant for many years.
The food is good and their service is excellent. Staff are friendly and fun. But one thing I hope they can improve on is to inform customer when they offered "still water". I thought it's just normal ice water but it ended up to be charged at $7.50 for a bottle of their so called "still water". Was quite shocked when I asked for the price. Other than that, I had a pleasant experience over there.
Great food as always! It's always a pleasure to eat at Pasta Brava! I heartily recommend the squid ink risotto and the calamari for starters!

Pasta Brava's menu is very authentic with great combination of Italian dishes. Their pasta dishes never disappoint. Though they're a bit small in portion but understand this is the way the Italians have it as a Primi
The tables for 2ppl are placed very closely to each other - no privacy. Although we arrived early and asked for corner table, request was turned out down. As for food, the mushroom soup and portobello mushroom are good. But the vongole (linguine w/ clams) was dry and blend even I have asked for more wine sauce when ordering. Beef lagsane was not piping hot when served, taste wise was so so - very tomato taste. Overall dining experience was not as good as I expected and food wise was not as good as what reviews have said.
The food is tasty. However we were a party of three and they specifically asked us whether we would like our meals to come together - we said yes - and then we proceeded to get our meals at completely diffferent times. The steak came a full 20 minutes before the pasta. It didn’t make for a great experience overall, especially for the price which is quite expensive for what you get.
Overall, the food is awesome and the staff is very friendly. Although the location for me as a tourist is not in the downtown area, but the quality of food and the friendliness of staff far outweighs it. Will definitely come back and recommend to others.
