A quality Indian restaurant, as we’re sure Perth knows, does not happen by accident. What we mean is, because there are so many Indian restaurants out there, it takes a lot for one to stand out from the crowd. Fortunately, however, Paprika Club Indian Restaurant does just that. On the gorgeous Scarborough Beach Road in Mount Hawthorn, this place wins with a simple yet extremely effective approach to Indian dining: warm service, a comforting, almost soothing dining space and, of course, a menu that’s laced with vast amounts of quality. Intrigued? You should be. Reserve a table at Paprika Club Indian Restaurant today.
Paprika Club Indian Restaurant is a popular spot. Among curry lovers of Mount Hawthorn and elsewhere in suburban Perth, it’s known very well for being the complete package when it comes to Indian dining. The restaurant is quite large, decorated in such a way that you don’t feel as though it’s trying too hard. And the same can be said of the staff, as it happens. They’re attentive and will go above and beyond, but not in a way that ever feels like they’re over-pestering. Paprika Club is, simply put, a really nice place to eat, drink (there’s a BYO wine policy) and relax.
Onto the food, and contrary to the name, in this part of Perth there is far more than just paprika going into the Indian dishes on the menu. You’ll find plenty of curry house classics, of course, as well some Paprika Club creations that the people of Mount Hawthorn are lucky to have such easy access to. Some of our favourites include the Goan fish curry that’s fiery hot and involves lots of coriander and coconut, as well as the saag beef complete with shredded spinach and mustard leaves. Every dish here is prepared with freshness in mind and you’ll be able to taste every single ingredient that’s gone into whatever you order. Just wonderful.
