No one tended to us when we entered the restaurant, and we had to wave a couple of times before someone tended to us.. strange because the restaurant wasn't even crowded to begin with. What bugged us was that we weren't informed of timing for last order, so that came as a surprise when we wanted to order another dish at around 8.15pm. For the price point, and 10% service charge, we felt that the service wasn't acceptable, but I would say that the manager / waiter who tended to us was friendly and apologetic. He should be given a pat on the back.

We had the laksa & chilli crab spaghetti, which turned out damn spicy! Place & ambience was nice, but staff did not really understand english. Overall, not too bad of an experience.

It was a quiet and comfortable place to dine in during the weekday. Food were delicious, we had pan smeared salmon, seafood laksa pasta and fruit yogurt salad and ended with durian lava cake.

This is our first time to the cafe. We felt the service was good and the ambiance was nice and cozy. We were a little disappointed with the limited choices on the menu though. I happened to order prawn noodles which was not up to standard but the chicken rice and Nasi Lemak were good.

The food could have been served faster but I could understand cuz we flooded the whole place with people. The food that we served was flavourful.

Limited food selection - many items on the menu were not available for ordering. Waiting time for food was long as well, slightly over half an hour. It may be because they were overwhelmed with customers on that day.

Had a dinner with my wife, the ambience is good, not crowded, found retro stuffs displayed that bring back memory. Ordered salmon and seabass and it taste good, plating is great too. A bit dissapointed that choco lava cake is finished, so we tried cream cheese lava cake. Too sweet for us. Overall its good dining experience

Environment is very noisy and the food is sub-par. Ordered the Laksa Pasta and Cabonara. It's one of the worse pasta I have ever eaten.

Visited the cafe on a Friday evening. The food was not bad but the place was too noisy with pre-arranged tour group dinners. Apparently, there are more than one group as the tables were filled, emptied and refilled with tourists led by tour guides.

Nice setting, but came in when there were 2 bus loads of tourists so quite noisy. Food portions for mains could have been slightly more.

Quality of food was average. Service staff was not very clear of the menu offerings. Ambience was nice as it was located in the civic district.

Good café food, friendly and helpful wait staff but they were very stretched as the place was crowded with other customers and a large tourist group

I was at the cafe on a deal, the location was great. However, the ambiance needs improvement. For example, they allowed the clearing of plates within the same common room where food is eaten/served - making a lot of noise - this really gives a feeling that the cafe is a food court or hawker centre.

Pleasant cafe located in an art museum :) We had local food: bak kut teh and nasi lemak. The BKT comes with generous servings of pork, but they aren't prime ribs. The broth could have been more peppery. The sides of braised peanuts, pickled veg and cut dough sticks make for a complete BKT meal, sans Chinese tea. Their nasi lemak is a unique combo of fragrant rice, fried anchovies, roasted peanuts and a dish of spicy chicken pieces. Not the usual fare with deep fried wing. All in, a nice dining experience at a neat venue, but a tad dear on the pockets.
