Dear diners, for specific requests for arrangement on counter seats /table seats, please be advised that tables are subject to availability on particular business days.
Spanish dining is some of the most heart-warming there is, and when it’s contemporary and served in the way it is at OLA Cocina Del Mar, it’s damn hard to resist. Singapore’s Marina Bay area certainly isn’t short of great places to eat, but the menus at OLA Cocina Del Mar make it a worthy contender for top spot. The counter lunch menu offers astounding value while the a la carte consists of tapas, paella and plenty of impressive Spanish main plates. Located on Marina Boulevard, this place is popular, so do reserve in advance.
OLA Cocina Del Mar captures perfectly what Spanish dining is about – marrying the best seasonal produce with traditional methods of cooking. The atmosphere at this Singapore restaurant is relaxed, casual and inviting, but the decor is contemporary. The kitchen is led by Peruvian chef Daniel Chavez – a man who really knows his tapas – and you can find OLA Cocina Del Mar on the bustling Marina Boulevard in Marina Bay, where foodies flock to enjoy the best cuisine in Singapore.
If indulging in some tapas from the a la carte, the crispy pork belly is a must, as is the baby calamari with onion puree and black ink sauce. Chef Chavez is also a specialist in paella, while some main courses include the Catalan fishermen's stew, as well as the dreamy whole roasted suckling pig, complete with an orange caramel glaze. This is contemporary Spanish food that suits the sophisticated surroundings of Singapore’s Marina Bay. Go ahead and try it.
Food is fresh and good. Service staff is attentive and prompt. A little noisy on a Tuesday afternoon otherwise, nice ambience! Will recommend this place for lunch as service is quite fast. Worth a visit.
food was excellent and the service was as well. atmosphere was relax and soothing with the light Spanish music playing in the background. Overall had a wonderful time
Nice and friendly restaurant. Tapas are great!! Tried "Noodles Paella" something very different, first timer, think I will stick back with rice base. Wanna come back for suckling pig.
Attentive service, flavorful food, cozy ambience. humble chef, generous portions
We did not get to the mains on the menu. The tapas was out of this world. As another party on our table said, the jamon "melted in your mouth while angels sing". We had 2 servings. And the restaurant fully accommodated for another guest who had a long list of food allergies. Definitely going back.
Gem in CBD. I went there for lunch. I enjoyed the Octopus and the special crab dish. The Paella comes in small portion which i appreciate because it allows me to order a few more dishes to try and share. I will definitely will go back again.
Had a business lunch. Great food. With more space, place doesn't feel so cramped. The ceviche was excellent as was the chicken I had as my main course. The octopus tapas was ok, Service was quick and pleasant. Pricing is on the high side.
Service was good, with attentive and friendly staff. Food was tasty however the portions felt fairly small for the price we're paying. Chef Daniel walked by to thank us for coming - would've been nice if he stopped a little to chat.
Best and finest Spanish restaurant in Singapore, ambiance are great, the waiters are polite and attentive, but most especially the food are among the best and presented well with wide collections of wines. Commendable.
Unpretentious simple food cooked with super fresh ingredients really well in a relaxed environment. A must visit with friends and family. Will become a regular for those looking for a polished, but relaxed meal.
