Oceans of Seafood specialises in – yep, you guessed it – seafood. It’s not just any seafood, however; we’re talking about the freshest premium fish and crustacea the ocean has to offer. From juicy lobster to tender black scrappers, Oceans of Seafood really knows their stuff. You can find this popular seafood restaurant at The Grandstand on Turf Club Road in Singapore’s Bukit Timah, close to Marsden Swim School and Centaurs Sports Park.

Good food, great experience! The restaurant acceded to my request to be seated at the Japanese side of the space occupied by Oceans of Seafood.
The first thing you notice about the seafood market cum restaurant at Pasarbella, Oceans of Seafood, is the raw, bustling atmosphere that echoes throughout the whole locality – an attribute of Pasarbella that draws from the spirit of classic marketplaces and bazaars from around the world. Rows of fresh seafood on ice line the sides of the immediate passage, and the smell of freshness immediately hits your nostrils, reminiscent of the neighborhood wet markets, albeit much cleaner and with a far wider variety of seafood on display. From Boston lobsters to Dungeness crabs, and flying fish to geoducks and bamboo clams, the spread is alone is enough to send the average seafood lover drooling in delight. But perhaps the most enticing, exciting sight to behold lies stretched over three ice beds; an assortment of live oysters from several countries. Once sat down, service, while far from the best I've experienced, is reasonably quick, and either ways, the quality of the food more than makes up for it, with the majority of the fresh sashimi that they serve, I was told, being flown in twice a week from Tsukiji Market in Japan. Furthermore, their frequent promotional prices mean that, while their food is not necessarily inexpensive, the restaurant presents exceptional value for money with the standard of food on show, and that is not to mention the variety of it, and an incredible spread of beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) as accompaniment.Needless to say I will be back for more!
Singapore’s Oceans of Seafood at The Grandstand on Turf Club Road is perfect for the entire family, so bring along the little ones and let them enjoy their very own miniature sushi platter or fish and chips. Known especially for their sushi, the kitchen staff at Oceans of Seafood makes sure that all of the ingredients (especially the seafood) are acquired from the very best sources – all of the food on offer at this Bukit Timah restaurant is as fresh as possible and sourced using environmentally-friendly methods.
Boston lobster, yellowtail and northern bluefin tuna are all available in great quantities for you to eat at Singapore's Oceans of Seafood – if you’re craving fish, crab or molluscs, there’s really no better place to go. Have a look at the restaurant’s extensive sushi menu and try out nigiri, makimono (sushi rolls), sashimi, and mixed platters. If you’re looking for something warmer, we recommend the seafood hot pot or the honjitsu no misoshiru, the miso soup of the day. Book ahead to experience the freshest seafood this side of Bukit Timah at Oceans of Seafood!
