Pleasant! The food was awesome much much better than anticipated. Small and cosy place albeit abit crowded and noisy w the lunch crowd :) otherwise a pleasant lunch :)
Location - 6/6 Ambience - 5/6 Quantity - 2/6 Taste - 5/6 Service - 3/6 Price - 3/6 Overall, I had a good experience with my colleagues however not very suitable for larger groups
Food was good, but the restaurant was a tad noisy during weekday lunch time, as it was packed with people and the tables were too close together.
The staff were amazing! They changed the background music and helped with the cake for the birthday celebration - which I really appreciate! The food was good too!!
Tasty! But portion is really small. Slightly spicy seasoning which is not listed in the description on the menu. Nice ambience and interiors and friendly staff.
you got to try this if you want to encounter new taste in your life! awaken my taste buds! never knew rice can taste so wonderful! espcially the unagi!!
Second time patronizing the shop and its pretty packed as usual! We went on a thursday lunch
Great food as always but the aircon at the front seems to be leaking! Other than it's a great place to hang out with your friend over a fairly healthy (ier) lunch.
Great food and service would visit them again totally since its good
Went during lunch, think it was a busy day, quite a number of things ran out. Nevertheless, food was good.
Food was good, portions generous and well-priced. Comfortable seating and staff were friendly. I ordered the Buta and Noka bowls with Ninja Rice, a satisfying mix of Japanese white and brown rice as well as the Fancy French. Found the Fancy French good but could have done with less honey as the main toast and fruit accompaniments were flavourful enough.
Fantastic food. Had the salmon bowl with quinoa. Onsen egg is delicious, salmon was perfectly marinated in the sauces. Super healthy and hearty bowl. Highly recommended.
Heard a lot about this place and decided to give it a try. Food was average and the tuna bowl was just bad, totally different from what I expected.
Wholesome rice bowls with good choice of proteins. Ebisu bowl was amazing
Unexpectedly crowded, but service was good. Space was cramped, so ranked were a little too close together to make for good walking space. Otherwise, the food bowls were excellent, though portions should be increased.
Staff is friendly and nice! Welcomed by the friendly greetings and got our seats quickly even though we were late. It would be better if there is a Japanese rice choice given :)
Service was good as the staff were all friendly. Food was not bad too - fresh and healthy but was yummy and the portion was just right!
Creative cuisine. Nice little diner at the corner of Duxton Road. Perfect for lunch, and casual dinner. Carb-free options a welcoming addition to SG food scene. Kudos, too, to the simple but sophisticated drinks.
Very delicious bowls and great coffee using Smitten beans. The Genki and Naka rice bowls are great with melt in the mouth beef cheek and savoury unagi.
Great food and service. Love the French toast with figs.
Great experience. Food was good as recommended by other bloggers and on instagram, place was easy to find. Do book in advance to reserve place preventing disappointment
Great food as advertised online! Keep up the good work
My friends and I really enjoyed the food! The Kaisen bowl was awesome! Definitely worth coming down again for a good meal.
Overrated. Food was cold when served. Think not think it's worth the hype
The waiting time for food can be rather long for peak hours. Nevertheless, the wait was worth it and I truly enjoyed the dishes especially the fancy French toast!
Hearty portion & who says healthy eating has to be greens!
The food is good and service is fast. This cafe is not a good place to chit chat with friends as the cafe then to be very noisy, i have to raise my voice when talking to my friends. But still i will visit the cafe again for the food.
Service staff were friendly. Seating space is quite limited and squeezy. Crowd started to enter at around 7pm on a weekday night. Food is not exceptionally good, just usual health food that is above the price I would be willing to pay. Yet, food portion was adequate to full our tummies.
A little expensive but food is yummy. Portion is filling after adding a base. Would have been better if the sign board was more prominent as we got lost initially.
staff was very friendly upon arrival. At the cashier, the staff explained the different rice option also..surprisingly the portion was quite a lot despite the rice looking very little..overall can consider going for a healthy meal
Lovely ambience and cafe. Was self service, though the water was a nice touch. Food was okay, although it didn't leave much of an impression for the price. Would go again perhaps, for another try, as we could have ordered the wrong choices.
Good food and good ambience and very friendly staff! Love the ebisu the most especially their scallops!!! Been here 4 times and will be back again :)
