The brother an equally famous Chinese steamboat restaurant in Singapore, Nan Hwa Chong Fish Head Steamboat Corner on North Bridge Road dates its origin to 1927. This is a place that long ago passed the acid test of good taste and authentic quality – popularity and longevity. It’s among the hipster hangouts of Bugis, but the only thing that really matters about Nan Hwa Chong Fish Head Steamboat Corner is the food. Rich, lovingly prepared broths swim with the freshest fish, vegetables and condiments available, and the experience is sociable and unforgettable. Perhaps the all-time favourite is the famous pomfret steamboat, but we can also vouch for their braised pig trotters and spectacular fried yam and mixed vegetable basket for vegetarians.
Food are above average with proper servings especially the fish steamboat. We ordered Medium for a group of 7. Service wise can be better. It seems difficult to grab hold of the staffs for food order.
