Love love the food, the service, the every small little nitty gritty effort and details they look into and put in. Really worth it! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Especially if you love japan! Its one of those authentic Japanese food u can ever get.

1. Got to know about Misato through its interview (The Truth About Opening a Japanese Restaurant in Singapore) on YouTube. Decided to try out its food for its authenticity 2. Restaurant was smaller than expected, and not an independent outlet (shared space in a dining zone). This erode its market positioning from "high-end" to "mid-market". Hence, even though it touts its authenticity of ingredients (all from Japan), it's unable to recover its cost though higher menu prices. Very unfortunate ... 3. Food is definitely authentic and very NICE! From presentation to the food itself, no double 5 stars! 4. Wait staff was not attentive enough: couldn't get her attention when I want to add additional items to my order. Instead caught the immediate attention of the cashier/manager further away at the counter. The pretty and young lady cashier/manager was definitely more attentive to customers' needs. Another 5 stars for her! 5. Stepped in at 5pm, which was the lull period leading up to dining time. 2 of the cook staff was then seated outside playing with their mobile phone. Definitely a No-No as this gives a very poor impression of the restaurant (is this a McDonalds' ?) 6. Finally, menu selection was way too few! There only a Salmon set fish main course. Where's the Unagi? The other meat main course was the Chicken which we ordered. Our order for 3 main course: Chicken Rice Bowl + Okonomiyaki + Cold Soba Noodles. Also, the sauce on the Okonomiyaki was SUPER SALTY! I have light taste buds while my wife has very heavy taste buds. Even she says it's very salty! In the end, I have to mix in the rice from the Chicken Rice Bowl to lessen the saltiness... Overall: Excellent Food! Extremely cheap price ($85+ for our order, a higher-end market Japanese restaurant would have cost at least $100+). Definitely value for money, but got room for improvements (wait staff's attentiveness, less saltiness, etc)! Nelson Ng Dining time: 5:00PM on Sat, 20 Jul 2019

Great place, food was tasty, but waitress were inexperienced and not attentive

The dishes we ordered were yummy and I have an great time with my friend at the restaurant. But the service staff need to be more alert as I had a bit of difficult time trying to get their attention to order. But all well once we order n they kept refilling our tea. 👍😁

1) The food was excellent. 2) The cutleries are well thought of and well planned. presentation is creative. 3) Restaurant too small. Not enough seats. 4) Selection was limited. No sashimi style offerings. That was disappointing. 5) Waiting time was super long because there is limited seating. 6) Atmosphere I can be better by not having it in a food court environment. Otherwise, I really like the food.

Excellent food. I had the chicken cutlet and the portions were just mouth watering. The portions remain generous and the price point just wonderful.
