First time at Merci Marcel, great service as the staff were really engaging and attentive to our needs, checking in on us every now and then. The food definitely met our expectations and was worth the price too!

We booked a table but they put us first along the wall on a tiny table. At 1pm they said we have to leave immediately but they never came to ask for dessert or coffee. Very rude. I came last Tuesday and they were more pleasant.

Love the interior and ambience of the cafe! They are really popular on the weekends so a reservation is highly recommended! Food is lovely but slightly on the pricier side. Staff are generally friendly and responsive. Great experience overall!

Get the seating at the back if u can. It’s Aircon and there’s a skylight of sort. Cool. The food is good and offers a different experience. Will go back.

I always enjoy this place: nice atmosphere, good food and good wine.

It was super warm because the aircon compressors are down. Throughout the whole 2 hours of dining experience, all x5 of us were taking turn to use the portable fan which luckily one of my friend brought! There is NO fan provided eventho the staff told us compressor has been down for a week plus. I mean, I have been to so many restaurants and I just wonder how can the owners don’t provide standing fans for emergency like this? And this is not just happened, it happened for a week plus yet no fan still? We looked at the staff, they were all sweaty all over their faces and foreheads. Do you think we as a guest not worry of the drip of their sweats? I seriously think that restaurant owners need to take responsibility to do something quick instead of telling the staff to tell the guests that they are negotiating w the contractor..One of my friend even asked :”Can we also negotiate the price in this case since there is no Aircon under such warm and hot weather?” We were sweating all over throughout the 2 hours...you might not understand because you are not women, but try to be in our shoes, would you enjoy dining in such situation? And, this is NOT my first visit! My previous visit, I was seated outdoor & thank god there’s fans. This time round we were all seated in the mid section. I know the last section is even worst!
