The Metropolis towers above Buona vista and the one-north precinct, a definitive landmark in Singapore, a true cosmopolis in the global dining scene. However, thanks to the fun-loving fusion folks at Marco Marco, The Metropolis is less Fritz Lang’s bad dream and rather a destination for lovers of Italian cuisine given a worldly twist. One of several in a family of restaurants scattered across the city, Marco Marco’s Buona Vista Drive outlet is a staging post for a triple-whammy feast of panini, pasta, and pizza, best washed down with authentic Italian espresso courtesy of Illy. Come choose from the globe-trotting menu or create your own dish!
Many of planet Earth’s so-called World Cities are represented on Marco Marco’s globe-spanning map of inspirations – New York, Mumbai, Mexico City, and our very own Singapore. Taking the flavours from these places and many more in between, Marco Marco present a menu of panini, pizza, and pasta dishes that fuse traditional Italian cuisine with typical local styles poached from each. Those lucky enough to live, work, and play in the Buona Vista area, and in one-north in particular, are invited to embark upon Marco Marco’s culinary voyage at The Metropolis, down Buona Vista Drive.
One of the best things about dining at Marco Marco, besides hopping, skipping, and jumping across the world in pursuit of a fusion of Italian panini, pastas, and pizza fused with local culinary styles and flavours, is the opportunity to create your own versions of this restaurant’s three main offerings. Fill out the form (far easier than a customs declaration) and be prepared to be transported to a world of fusion cuisine of your own making. Marco Marco has a number of gastronomic spaceports in Singapore, but none is as futuristic in look and feel as their location at one-north’s The Metropolis, a short stroll or Segue from Buona Vista MRT down Buona Vista Drive. Here, the sky’s the limit, and the pizza pies are the best.
Gd Food! Reasonable Pricing! Right portion! Great Ambience! Variety of Food... No reservation is actually needed.. Had Pizza, Pasta, Garlic Bread, Panini.. U Have To Go To Know It!
Great food and service, value for money and perfect for a big group of friends as they allow reservations during lunch time which is great....
Nice place to hang out with friends. The food was okay, the portion is standard. Lots of variety of food. I would definitely come back again.
Decent food at reasonable price! Tried the Bangkok pasta and Parma Ham pizza. Both were good! The place was a little warm even though we sat indoors.
I went on a Monday evening and managed to get a table ASAP. Food was relatively inexpensive and it came fast! My only gripe was that the chocolate lava cake didn't come with a soft center, I suspect this was because it was microwaved before being served to us.
The staff at Marco Marco were polite and efficient. The food was value for money and I would recommend their pizzas. My friends and I had a great time enjoying the food.
Food was not bad! Service was good. Would recommend to try the pasta dishes. Some are quite unique. The chocolate lava cake was also quite value for money
Great service, friendly staff and pizza was really good and fresh! Would pop by again if I'm in the area to try their pasta and panini.
Affordable prices and reasonable quality, though the waiting time for different foods was unbalanced. The panini order was only served as my friend was finishing her pasta. The food was alright overall.
The place is pretty quiet so it's good for some gathering and catching up. The pizza is not bad but the pasta is a little dry. Overall food quality is not bad.
