Food was good, however, waitress seems like a newcomer, took orders wrongly, waiting hour for food is long(Valentine's Day), but even though is V Day, its way too long. Felt that there might be mozzi under the table hovering around. Could have been a great place if they improve on service and put in some effort to spruce up the place as the Washroom is rather gloomy . Must say the food is good but...all of the above.

Staff recommended a few items that turned out delicious. They were attentive and changed our chairs to more comfortable ones upon request. Lobster salad and house sake are good.

From entry into the establishment greeted warmly and shown to a window seat. A small restaurant with good atmosphere, great service and top quality tasty food.

We enjoyed a great lunch and bonding together. The lighting a bit too dark. The waitress provided good services. We will come again in the future.

Was the last and only customer there... food was good... accommodating to our requests... lobster salad was yummy, chawanmushi just right, wagyu beef hotplate was tender and just right, unagi roll was yummy... in fact all the food we had was just 👍

There should be a listing of whether I can pick outside seating or inside seating. And servers do not know what the dishes are, kept going in to ask the kitchen staff what it is if not just mentioned "not sure". Lack of knowledge of own product? Or can't be bothered to know?

Pretty bad experience for such high review scores and pricing. Out of 6 dishes, only house special sushi roll was nice. Salmon sashimi (thick but soft, not sure if it's really fresh), was passable. Lobster salad so-so and we didn’t even feel like finishing the rest (cold soba, garlic fried rice). Bad service - Waitress was expressionless and took order from a distance (leaning against the screen separating the walkway and dining area) rather than standing beside our table. Such disappointing experience for us! For this price, you are better off eating at chikuwatei down the road!

Reached the place quite late. Service is great. Sushimi quality and quantity is average. Sake is nice. Unfortunately is close to mid-shift afternoon break. Not nice to disturb the staff and decided to leave around 3 plus.

Delicious and quality food especially Wagyu beef. Yummy!!! Good service. Nice cozy ambience. Was given a private room for my little party with buddies. Overall, a great experience! Highly recommended!

We decided on Yumeya based on the positive reviews but were a little disappointed when we were there. There was this table near us that were making so much noise (2 men and 1 lady) playing dice game drinking liquor... not what is expected of a restaurant and I was surprised that the restaurant allowed such activity - dice games, speaking at the top of their voice. A scenario that is more suitable for KTV or Pub and definitely not in a restaurant. We immediately left the restaurant after finishing our food and had coffee/dessert somewhere else. Food was good though but the noisy group and the fact that the restaurant allow such behavior from customers left a very negative impression.

Food was good but expensive if you order ala-cart. They have set lunch and dinner. Most Japanese restaurant does not offer set dinner. The set dinner is not offered on menu so do ask for it otherwise the staff will not inform you.

It's the 2nd time we return in 2 weeks! Really like the food here, especially the combo of Hot soba and tempura set - fresh food at affordable prices. Will certainly return again!

If you're a japanese cuisine lover, This will be another perfect place reccomended, Located along the street of Mohd Sultan road, With the superb and cozy atmosphere and ambience, Not to forget the great services and wonderful food that is very very beautifully presented, Overall it was a unforgettable experiences.

This hidden gem along Mohd Sultan road is definitely worth a try. Affordable quality Japanese cuisine is what sums up our experience at Yumeya, and the chefs there take their masterpiece very seriously - from the use of ingredients to the preparation method/sequence. We got more value than what we paid for. Will definitely return for more!

Lovely table with a fantastic waitress who offered great suggestions from a diverse menu. We never felt rushed and spent 2 hrs enjoying our lunch.
