Manchurian Restaurant on Liang Seah Street is a little Singapore gem, a Chinese restaurant we and everyone else in Bugis really can’t get enough of. Why all the fuss? Because Manchurian Restaurant is an intimate, very stylish yet unpretentious space serving very authentic Chinese fare. Sets are available for solo diners or for groups, then regular mains range from BBQ sheep bone to dry pot bullfrog and plenty more besides. Just off Beach Road and not far at all from Bugis MRT, Manchurian Restaurant on Liang Seah Street is where to head for a no-frills Chinese fill that won’t break the bank but will put an enormous smile on your face. Reserve your spot now.
We ordered several dishes for 3 persons - BBQ lamb ribs, mutton soup, skewered mutton, and 手抓羊排 (something like boiled lamb racks with separate sauce dips). I personally like the skewered mutton most, followed by the BBQ lamb ribs. The staff are very friendly and helpful, offering to warm up the boiled lamb racks when they have become cold. The mutton soup is refillable.
The dishes are awesome and the spices are well marinated. Do not miss and try going for the lamb chop and the lamb sticks (like satay)!!!
food and service is up to standard, wide variety of selection on the menu., however friendliness of staff may be improved for better dining experience
