Excellent choice of restaurant for delicious western food and drink. The booking via quandoo went well, although the first booking was rejected, but subsequent booking was successful.
Food is excellent. We have the Angus beef, lobster and lamb for the main. The meat is tender and juicy for the beef and lamb and all the dishes were excellently done. All the desert was excellent. Kudos to the cook and service staff.
Very good service, great food and a solid wine selection. All at a reasonable price and a very cost environment. A rare find in Singapore.
Mags wine kitchen is very good. I very much recommend it.
The beef tenderloin & lobster risotto were very tasty & cooked very nicely. My order of Medium for the beef was done to perfection. Not too bloody nor too overcooked. Just right. Oysters were very fresh & nicely garnished with just the right amount of herbs for a flavorful mouthful. Ambience was nothing to boot about though. Simple, empty & quiet, we were the only table there. Go for the food! Not for the ambience.
Excellent food chosen from a fixed-price menu: $65++ for three courses plus a bottle of a House red between two of us. Servings appear small, but were more than adequate. Service OK, but a bit overwhelmed by a large group booking. Certainly worth further visits, as the meals were well conceived and very tasty.
After reading past reviews, I was kinda expecting a noisy dinner but it was a quiet night at Mag's. Overall the food and service were good, notably the Tain of blue swimmer crabmeat which was delicious! Pretty good value for money, no complains at all. I'll definitely go back there again.
Great food, wine and service in a quaint intimate setting! Highly recommended! Had a party of 6 and they accommodated us with no problems. All courses came out together and hot and cooked to perfection.
Great food and excellent service at a fair price - what more can you want? Sea Bass is a must have and the Black Angus beef melts in your mouth. Will definitely be back.
Awesome food! Great style. I really like it at May's because it has a homey feeling. Not like the large fancy restaurants, which have a tendency to miss the personal touch.
I always visit Mags when in Singapore - never been disappointed. Intetresting menu, food well cooked with efficient service. My one gripe would be the wine list - very interesting but most slightly outside my budget.
Fantastic place for lunch $48 for a beautiful swimmer crab starter then on to a perfectly cooked strip steak. What a great value and to top it off superb service.
Excellent food at amazing value for money - delicious. We had scallops, burrata, steak and sea bass between us. Lovely wine list too, very fairly priced. Will be back.
Food as always consistently good. There was some confusion as to whether you could still bring BYO on Tuesday nights. They honored it and no fuss about it. Please confirm though for going forward.
We had a great dinner at Mag's Wine Bar this evening. The food was delicious, the wine selection extensive and the service was attentive. A wonderful experience overall!
Great food and wine. Selective food menu however always top quality. Small and intimate restaurant. I always make a point of visiting Mags whenever I am in Singapore
Always a fabulous meal and atmosphere is great for a group or smaller gathering Simple themes but a broad appeal. Thanks again guys, I will certainly be back
great food and great environment which i will plan to go back with my colleague, family and friend again soon, and the food is really good.
Excellent service, top quality food, our guests from the UK were highly impressed and a superb wine list. We will definitely be returning very soon!
Awesome atmosphere. Food is always great and reasonably priced. Restaurant is clean and staff are supper attentive. Highly recommend the pork loin and scallops .
Very good environment and food. will visit here again in future, and will bring along all my familes and friends to try it out there.
Excellent food and service. It was not spacious but more than made up for it with the ambience and layout and modern jazz music. Reasonably priced as well.
Food and service was very good. Only disappointment was the fact that poached pears were on the menu but were not available. Had a good selections of wine
Delicious food as always, good service. Quiet ambience and sad there's no smoking allowed by the outside tables any more. Overall, a lovely, fun, tasty evening out!
Had the 200 day steak and it was 40% fat . not impressed . presentation was a bit sloppy and not what I expect from Mags, I just must have had a bad one as my colleague was very impressed with his pork.
Small restaurant but the food really great. Medium Tenderlion done to perfection & larva cake desert was unforgettable. Good for family & small group dining.
An Establishment -- it's been around for about 23 years. Sincere food and service. They host plenty of wine tastings too. Will definitely be back!
Great steak! - excellent business lunch menu and wonderful service at a reasonable price. A brilliant CBD lunch option and would highly recommend. thank you!
Great business lunch menu. Makes ordering quick and straightforward. Ambience was most ideal especially early part of the lunch. We will definitely be back again.
Restaurant kitchen staff were cleaning the oven when we arrived so the restaurant was smoky and we smelt like we were cooking! The food was however good as always!
A dependable classic, still knocking out very solid bistro fare after all these years! Service is friendly and prices are good for this level of cooking.
Good, as usual. Could get a few new dishes on the menu ( been the same 5 starters and 5 mains for the last 10 years)
