Thinking about making a Little Diner booking?

Little Diner’s executive chef Michael Quinn harks from Ireland, but has spent over a decade in New York creating a fusion of his Irish and American food philosophies. The result, with a little help from his friends, is Singapore’s Little Diner. Set along Bukit Timah Road, this chic little eatery has big ideas and bigger portions of American-style cuisine up its capacious culinary sleeve. Feeding time at Little Diner is always a tasty, homemade affair. Light bites to begin – the Coney Island Flash Fried Calamari are a big winner in this seafood city. Heartier eats include the Rolls Royce of mac and cheese, the Version 2.0 Baked Mac & Cheese Royale. Another couple of the chef’s specials are Mikey’s Fish & Chips, made to an Irish family recipe, and the All-American Buttermilk Fried Chicken, which promises an extra dimension of deliciousness to compensate for its slightly higher price tag.

No American diner worth its salt shaker would be complete without a heavily-laden drinks menu. Little Diner’s diminutive title belies its ability to punch well above its weight in this respect. You have all the usual liquids available, but these are mere lubricants for the gullet compared to the craft beers that Little Diner brings in to its Bukit Timah premises. Deschutes Brewery in Oregon bring their outrageously hoppy Fresh Squeezed IPA to the table, while microbrews from Victory and the ever-inventive Stone Brewing Co. from California round out a strong showing. At the end of the day (an absolutely perfect time to get fed at Little Diner), this is one of Singapore’s best place to get together with a group of like-minded folk with only a couple things on their mind – good food and drink. With Little Diner, you’re amongst friends.
