Nice ambience, friendly staff. Tiramisu was good! Will visit again
Service was attentive and the food was very authentic and worth a visit. I would recommend the chef's recommendation for the pasta, al dente and filled with flavour. It was hardly crowded and we enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Will be back definitely for special occasions.
the environment is very bright and positive. the food is fantastic.
Checked out this new place at The Capitol Kempinski after coming across their opening 1-for-1 promotion online. The group of 5 of us shared 2 appetisers, 2 pastas and 2 pizzas across us and we were positively stuffed. Service was attentive the moment we sat down, offering to pour us water while we browsed the menu. Complimentary bread sticks and olive oil was also provided after ordering. The appetisers we had were the Octopus and the Burratini. The octopus was grilled perfectly with enough chew yet not being rubbery and the accompanying pesto balanced it out well, while the burratini was creamy and a perfect accompaniment to the rocket leave and tomatoes. Moving on to the mains, we had the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Penne Rosa, and the carbonara had a unique spin to it, the blend of 2 cheeses gave a sharp kick to the dish and provided a rough creaminess to the pasta. The penne rosa was a pleasant cream tomato sauce coating the penne and salmon, a comforting dish. For the pizzas we had the Calabrese and the Proscuitto di Parma. The pizzas were superb, light and fluffy with a good amount of chew to the dough and they were rolled thin enough to not feel too heavy after each slice. Calabrese was the clear winner for me as I wasn't a big fan of proscuitto. Overall a great meal there with warm and attentive service and excellent italian fare and definitely warrants a return trip!
