Taking over the former Killiney Post Office near Orchard Road and Somerset station, KPO is here providing great beer, excellent food and amazing times. By day a comfortable, light-filled cafe, by night, a bustling bar buzzing with energy and excitement, KPO on Killiney Road is a favourite hangout of locals and visitors to Singapore alike. Serving up a menu of tasty international and local creations, including incredible homemade potato chips, KPO is more than just your usual watering hole.
A magnet for the city’s hip and young, KPO in the former Killiney Post Office knows how to keep guests happy with their delicious internationally-inspired cuisine and an array of craft beers, fine wines and innovative cocktails. Featuring an abundance of natural light plus sleek wooden beams and furnishings, the establishment feels like a hip modern cabin, with great food and drinks to boot. At night, the mood changes and KPO on Killiney Road, just off Orchard Road and close to Somerset station, becomes a bustling and exciting bar, with fabulous cocktails and events including 1 for 1 Draught Pint Saturdays and Ladies’ Night on Wednesdays.
While the atmosphere is spectacular on its own, the food is something especially phenomenal at KPO in the vicinity of Singapore's Orchard. Make sure to begin your meal with an order of homemade potato chips to share, made from hand-sliced potatoes served with tomato salsa, nacho cheese and chili dip. One of the restaurant’s top sellers is the nasi lemak, a dish including coconut rice, sambal king prawn, crispy fried chicken, ikan bilis, peanuts and an egg to top it all off. Make sure to finish with a dessert, such as the chocolate praline crunch tart or the chips ‘n’ cream, KPO’s homemade potato chips topped with ice cream and caramel sauce – sounds crazy, tastes amazing. Book in advance to secure your spot at this popular hangout, just steps from busy Orchard Road and Somerset station.
Great music and delicious food. Price of the food is also very reasonable. The crowd is also friendly.
My oversea friends fm America like the place, music, and the food. They hv the chance to try some of the Singapore signature foods such as Satay and Fried Hokkien Mee, while they were having western food which made them felt at home too.
