The Kinara Group’s Indian restaurant at Boat Quay is one of 4 Kinara outlets serving impeccable Indian cuisine throughout Singapore, rounded out by Kinara’s Saffron bistro along Circular Road. Joining Kinara’s Holland Village joint, the new Upper East Coast Road restaurant, and an outlet at Changi Business Park, Kinara’s Boat Quay location is fantastic for entertaining friends, going out on a date, or hosting a function. With North Indian dishes to suit every taste and level of spice-tolerance, Kinara invites you to dine like royalty – but it is spice that rules every Kinara restaurant.
Expert Indian chefs and discreet, attentive service are typical of the Kinara dining
experience. But just stepping through Kinara’s imposing wooden doors at this prime
location on Singapore’s Boat Quay is a delight – you’re instantly transported three
centuries and a world away to historical Rajasthan. And that’s the specific regional
style that characterises Kinara’s North Indian cuisine – dishes that hail from India’s
Vegetarian shakahari are a perfect start, and all dishes use the best basmati rice selected from crops grown in and around Dehradum, in the northern province of Uttarakhand. Seafood is also represented, though, in the selection of samundari curries, dishes that take full advantage of Singapore’s abundance of fresh fish. With 5 locations where you can enjoy Kinara’s Indian cuisine, you’d be hard pressed to find an excuse not to drop in and enjoy the ambience. But, if an at-home Indian feast is what you want, then delivery throughout Singapore is available. Kinara also offer an easy-to-use online form to arrange catering for corporate or private functions, with ample room upstairs at Kinara’s Boat Quay home or catering that’s mobile and al fresco.
Was good as usual. Had the Chicken 65 this time. Quite different from the other Indian restaurants have. Seemed to be coated with some chilli paste, unlike other places where it is pretty dry. Wasn't bad, just different. The mutton rogan josh was quite good. For some reason, they never have a spoon at the table, and you always need to ask for one. Don't know why.
Good place. Nice location. Friendly staff, once you get to know them often enough. Just a little bit pricey for the quantity. The lamb dishes are good. The fish tikka is also nice. The Chicken and Potatoes dish (Murgh Aloo) is also good.
The food was good, as always. Service was excellent. Got my food customised to my needs.
the experience was good, the atmosphere was relaxed , the food was good friends liked it as it was not that spicy but didn't like that colours was added in the food though
Not really satisfied with the services rendered and Kinara charges more compared to similar restaurants. Not tempting to visit again.
Food was average nothing fantastic for the pricing, indoor atmosphere was alright but not well kept. Service was acceptable.
