The Kinara Group’s Indian restaurant along Upper East Coast Road in the Katong district – fondly dubbed Kinara at The East – is the newest additon to Kinara’s 4 outlets serving impeccable Indian cuisine throughout Singapore, rounded out by Kinara’s Saffron bistro along Circular Road. Joining Kinara’s Boat Quay location, the popular Holland Village spot, and an outlet at Changi Business Park, Kinara’s Upper East Coast Road location offers a unique setting in which to enjoy North Indian cuisine. With North Indian dishes to suit every taste and level of spice- tolerance, Kinara invites you to dine like royalty – but it is spice that rules every Kinara restaurant.

Just stepping into Kinara’s attractive Upper East Coast Road premises in Singapore’s Katong district is a delight – with beautiful wooden carvings and latticework, mirrored cushions, and the inviting smell of expertly spiced North Indian cuisine, the atmosphere of historical Rajasthan pushes through into the modern world. You’re transported, fully absorbed in Kinara’s fragrant dishes that hail from India’s north-western borders.

Turning to the menu, Northern Indian vegetarian shakahari are a perfect start, and all dishes use the best basmati rice selected from crops grown in and around Dehradum, in the northern province of Uttarakhand. Seafood is also represented, though, in the selection of samundari curries, dishes that take full advantage of Singapore’s abundance of fresh fish.
