More about Kinara at The East, Singapore

Authentic Indian chefs and discreet, attentive service are typical of the Kinara dining experience. Just stepping into Kinara’s attractive Upper East Coast Road premises in Singapore’s Katong district is a delight – with beautiful wooden carvings and latticework, mirrored cushions, and the inviting smell of expertly spiced North Indian cuisine, the atmosphere of historical Rajasthan pushes through into the modern world. You’re transported, fully absorbed in Kinara’s fragrant dishes that hail from India’s north-western borders.

Turning to the menu, Northern Indian vegetarian shakahari are a perfect start, and all dishes use the best basmati rice selected from crops grown in and around Dehradum, in the northern province of Uttarakhand. Seafood is also represented, though, in the selection of samundari curries, dishes that take full advantage of Singapore’s abundance of fresh fish. With 5 locations where you can enjoy Kinara’s Indian cuisine, you’d be hard pressed to find an excuse not to drop in and enjoy the ambience one of the restaurants, if not Kinara’s Upper East Coast Road outlet itself. Kinara at The East is a relatively small Kinara restaurant, but there’s still outdoor dining to enjoy on a balmy night. Don’t forget that if an at-home Indian feast is what you want, then delivery throughout Singapore is available. Kinara also offer an easy- to-use online form to arrange catering for corporate or private functions or catering that’s mobile and al fresco.
