Singapore may have no shortage of great Japanese restaurants, but Kenhiru is flying the flag for the cuisine over in Orchard. As well as the freshest sushi and sashimi, at Kenhiru Japanese Restaurant you’ll find plenty other Japanese favourites on the menu, from grills to noodle dishes and tasty soups. Located on Cairnhill Road, Kenhiru Japanese Restaurant can get busy, especially at happy hour between 5 and 6 p.m., so make sure that you snap up a seat and make a reservation in advance!
Good service. Food is nice and good environment. However, Iooking for car park is a problem. Has to park at Orchard and walk over there. Thanks.
A small and quaint Japanese restaurant located just off busy Orchard Road. Homely atmosphere. Restaurant was nearly empty when I went there on a Tuesday night, perhaps because of lack of parking spaces?
Overpriced food, much room for improvement taste wise. Sashimi platter was not worth it for the price and neither was it fantastic. Staff were friendly and nice. Unlikely to be heading back.
With its simplistic and stylish decor, Singapore’s Kenhiru Japanese Restaurant provides a cosy setting to dine in, attracting lovers of Japanese cuisine to its Orchard location on Mondays through to Sundays. Whether it’s for lunch or dinner, Kenhiru Japanese Restaurant’s extensive menu has no shortage of choices, and no matter if you’re a lover of seafood or not you’ll find plenty of options, with an array of meat and vegetable dishes too.
Some of our favourite dishes include the Iberico pork rack (a rack of Iberico pork glazed with teriyaki sauce), the sashimi mori special five kind (salmon, maguro, hamachi, hotate and amaebi), the horenso salad (a spinach salad with cherry tomato and bacon bits and a sesame dressing) and the Iberico pork tonkatsu. Situated on Cairnhill Road in Singapore’s Orchard area, Kenhiru Japanese Restaurant draws in diners from all over the city-state, whether for a leisurely dining experience or simply shared plates over a drink during happy hour from 5 p.m. To avoid disappointment, book a table in advance!
