This bold Indian restaurant in Lancaster city centre proclaims itself the ‘king of curry,’ and it’s hard to argue with them after you get a taste of what they’re pumping out from Parliament Street. Maybe Kashish was destined to lead the way in Lancaster’s Indian food scene, as the former inhabitants of its building (the historic 19th-century Lancaster Parliament Buildings) led the people. Okay, enough elaborate waffling and back to the bare bones of it – you will simply struggle to find better value quality Indian food in Lancaster. The chefs at Kashish seem more than happy to adapt dishes to varying styles and tastes, so whether you want something to burn your tongue off or set off the sweet sensors you’ll be able to find it on Kashish’s incredibly long and intricate menu. If you can’t decide what to eat, we recommend the excellent 3-course early dinner menu for a good introduction.

I can't fault the food. The service was really good, one of our party members was late and they didn't mind and let us order 30 minutes after we had sat down from the time we booked the table.
The food was absoulutley amazing! All the staff were really nice. Didnt have to wait long. Would definitley recommend. And i will definitley be going back again :)
wonderful staff and wonderful food. Very clean and well presented
The food was excellent and the staff were very efficient and looked after us very well. Good value for money and the naan bread was huge
we arrived early but was seated straight away , service was good a little more effort could could have been put into the drinks I ordered a soft drink for my friend I knew they did not sell alcahol and ask what other drinks were available I was told coke which was not true. That did not make any difference to the meal which was very good. Thank you Jim J
I've been to this restaurant a number of times and had no issues but on this visit, we were very rushed. We usually go as a group of about 10 as this is our go to for works nights, so I appreciate that it's going to take time to get food out which I don't mind at all. However last time we went, the last person had barely started eating before they came over the thrust the bill at us, making the night very awkward and making people feel like they had to rush their food. Food is always very good though.
Love it terrific food attentive and approachable staff fabulous surroundings not the usual indian restaurant. Took friends are they were all impressed very good time waited a while but not a problem can be a bit noisy but that's because it was busy terrific value at 9.99 I've never managed to eat it all
Management and staff very professional, friendly and helpful. We have been before but this time took two friends with us who were equally impressed. The £9 99 deal is well worth the money. Will definitely go again next time we visit Lancaster or the surrounding area.
Had a wonderful evening with friends. Able to bring our own drink and they provided glasses, a bottle opener and took the empty bottles away. The food was excellent and the price was good. A very memorable evening, lovely atmosphere and not rushed.
Had a lovely evenng at Kashish. As usual the food was lovely great flavours. Service good. They did make one mistake but that was rectified quickly.
Fantastic food, attentive staff and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The presentation of the food was excellent and the taste even better. We were there celebrating our anniversary and we definitely made the right choice. Highly recommend and will be returning.
Beautiful place amazing food well worth as working away in Lancaster I needed a bit of home comforts and this topped it off , staff were great and friendly definitely be back before I go home
Great food the early bird menu is a good price less than £10 and you can also bring your own drinks which makes it a great night out and excellent value
Great place to eat, staff is friendly, food is quick and tastes great! Will definitely be going back. Great portion size too as I left feeling nicely full.
Very friendly staff, excellent good enormous portions and happy to open your own beer for you. Try the amazing nash breads. We all had a great time.
Excellent range on the extensive menu and very good value with great service. The food was really well presented with good size helpings and excellent taste.
Quite simply the friendliest and best Indian restaurant in the area! Please keep it up and can't wait to spend another evening with you guys soon!
Fantastic value for £9.50 each, if in Lancaster well worth a visit staff where very friendly and helpful and the food excellent, will be going again soon
The food was very good but there was no card payment available -not sure if this is permanent, and a little wait for the main to arrive. Will go again
Beautifully decorated place nice ambience the food was ok found it lacking in salt the staff were friendly overall was a good night. Have had better food at cheaper price
Excellent food but was startled to find it was cash only, so had to trot out in the wind to the local supermarket, Otherwise would have been full marks.
Very nice ambience good food good value children friendly easy to find and park what more can be said worth a try you won't be disappointed
Great service and the food was fantastic. Big portions. Helpful and friendly staff who couldn't do more for us. Reasonably priced food to highly recommend.
Really tasty and incredibly friendly and very speedy service. I had a chicken and spinach masala and it I couldn't fault it, brilliant. Will definitely be going again.
After waiting over an hour for out meal, The only thing I enjoyed was the large garlic naan bread. Was disappointed. A friend asked for all her food with no coriander and half of it came with it in!
