Food was great, very good flavours in each course . The service was good, from happy and smiling staff. Very good value. Will dine there again
Excellent food and service and novel idea for the layout - you can ask to buy any of the furniture and fittings including the staff's hats!
The service was excellent, the staff is kind and professional. The food was fantastic as usual, great quality and awesome taste! I had a great time and I am looking forward to eating at Kasbah again.
Great food. Service could be quicker but overall a great experience!
The Kasbah is an excellent value Moroccan restaurant serving delicious tagines and couscous based dishes in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to an authentic Moroccan soundtrack. If you order a tagine be warned that it comes piping hot so you may have a bit of a wait for it to cool down enough to eat, but well worth the wait! Portions are very generous but we still managed to share a plate of baklava. And all this for about £15 a head. Highly recommended if you're anywhere near Bold Street and worth a bit of a trek if you're not.
On Christmas Eve we went as a large family group with children from 6 months to 13 years, we arrived a little early and the staff arranged seating for us straight away. A great menu selection, something for everyone. We ordered a bit of everything to share across the table, and it all arrived together and nice and hot. The service was very good, friendly family atmosphere. We would go here again, and we would recommend a visit.
Only the second time I have been and still as good as the first time, all the magic and amazement of the way the food is served and mint tea is poured for the first time is not lost the second time. With a place like Kasbah I don't think it will ever be lost. Great service top notch food & drink, can not wait to go back! Real shame I live so far away :'(
Excellently!!!!!! The for food was delious, the atmosphere was great especially when we had Fez hats on during are meal. The staff were so friendly and helpful an even surprised us with them all singing happy birthday to one of are friends and presented him with a plate of Baclava dessert with a candle lit in it. Would highly recommend it even tho it's school free. I loved the mint tea.
Great restaurant. Setting was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered tapas and bread which was spot on and our main courses were huge. It was a nice change going to an alcohol free restaurant and I felt it wasn't rowdy as as result. I went for a drink afterwards but couldn't manage it as I was too stuffed! Highly recommended.
We ordered from the 2 courses for £10.95 lunchtime menu. I had the falafel to start followed by the Tagine de Fez, both were really tastey. The lamb in the tagine was so tender it just fell apart. Would also recommend the Moroccan lemonade and the Moroccan coffee. Overall 10/10 for value, taste and atmosphere. Can't wait for our next visit.
Something a bit different, a very Moroccan feel about the place. The air can get a bit smokey with the kitchen situated behind the bar in the same room where you eat, but for me this adds to the atmosphere. Went here for breakfast. It's like English breakfast but with everything slightly spiced up. Very tasty food all round. The mint tea is a must try. Very sweet with a hint of honey.
It was absolutely delicious and felt really authentic. Laid-back service and we didn't feel that we were rushed. The food - from traditional hummus and halloumi to an amazing lamb shank with figs and saffron rice - was one of the best I've had in Liverpool. Lovely decor inside too. Thanks so much - we'll definitely be back!
The food was all delicious- hard to decide what to eat as there is so much choice. Service was very good. Staff are friendly. If you like the surroundings- they offer the unusual service of you can buy anything you see!!!! Will definitely return as there were other items on the menu we all wanted to try.
Fantastic atmosphere and loved the no-alcohol aspect. The spiced teas we had were delicious. Slightly slow having drinks orders taken on arrival and I, personally, didn't think potatoes, which had a reheated taste to them, in the tagines worked. Sweet potato might work but not white potato - they just made an otherwise refreshing meal heavy. Otherwise, fantastic. Without these small things it would have been full marks.
Lovely atmosphere and great food. Really enjoyed it. Kids did too. Would definately go back. Had the set lunch meal for 10.95. Loads to eat. The only problem was no kids menu but they were able to give a smaller portion of a couple of items though not what my daughter originally wanted.
I LOVE this place so much! The food is always excellent, we've been going to the kasbah since it opened and it never fails. Great service, friendly staff, wonderful decor and amazing food. Highly highly recommended. I can't say enough about just how much I love it!
This place is a 'must visit'. We arrived 40 minutes early for our booking as we were starving. Squeezed us in - the restaurant was packed at 17.30. (You need to book). Waitresses were lovely - food is outstanding. The whole atmosphere is busy and cool.
There was a wait for our table even though we had one reserved but whilst we were seated we enjoyed and soaked in the atmosphere. The restaurant was very lively and one waiter ( didnt catch his name) provided us with exceptional service. We really enjoyed our visit to the Kasbah and will definitely return.
last time I came was a lot better, dont bother booking as we still had to wait, they dont reserve a table for you. Could have done with more veggie options but staff were lovely, food was amazing and the atmosphere is wonderful. I could easily stay there all night once we got a table. Definitely will come again, but best to come when its less busy. :)
I love this restaurant and visit regularly. As one of the hottest days so far, the heat inside the Kasbah last night (Tues 19th July) was almost unbearable. Although we could see an air con panel on the ceiling, it wasn't switched on! Food was lovely as usual, but we were eager to leave at the end of the meal. Please switch on the air con!
We had a great time at the Kasbah, the Food was simply amazing, and also the Service was nice and very helpfull. The Tapas have a good size for lunch, Prices are good and the marokkan mint tea was the best!!!
Excellent food, great deals, nice ambiance and lovely service! A great place to spend special occasions or just to share a meal with friend. I would definitely be back at Kasbah for more great food, especially the Tangine de Fez!
Staff were friendly and very attentive despite the restaurant being very busy - would recommend booking. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. We saw loads of dishes we want to try in the future. Will definitely go again!
I would highly recommend the Kasbah: the service was excellent - very friendly and extremely polite. The atmosphere was great but most importantly the food was outstanding, delicious and good portion size. We will definitely return
I always love going back to Kasbah, food is great, staff are very nice and pleasant. And the mint tea is my favourite. I brought my family and friends there and enjoyed the food.
Beautiful restaurant. Service was a little slow but when starters came they were simply divine! Best olives I've ever tasted! Mains were nice- plenty of food, ordered chicken tagine and chicken couscous but was a little bland. Could not fault the value for money. Overall a lovely experience thank you!
Great setting and atmosphere, good service and very tasty food. Quite fast so probably not suitable if planning making an evening of it, but lovely for an early evening quick but quality bite.
The food was great and reasonably priced but we were placed right at the back by the toilets and kitchens which was a little cramped. The restaurant was far too hot (the air conditioning didn't seem to be turned on) and some of the staff were a bit rude.
The food was really nice as well as the people. The only negative thing about this place is the smell. The kitchen is in the main room so there is a bit of smoke and my clothes and hair really smelled like fried food when I came out.
Great, tasty food in a good location close to Liverpool Central Station. Wonderful, friendly staff. Will certainly visit again. As will my kids. :-). Best pitta and humous we've ever tasted. Yum.
Lovely food lovely atmosphere and very reasonable in terms of price. Brought friends visiting Liverpool who do not drink so it is great to have a great restaurant that accomodates this.
A great experience , food exceptional and great service a real treat. Every one in our party of 6 was pleased with there meals , will defentlly be going back
Consistently good. Always a favourite. Good service and food. Excellent value. We would certainly visit again. Good value set menu with a choice for those who do not eat meat.
Great meal and atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much that we went back the following day for lunch! The Moroccan lemonade is lovely, it's like a non alcoholic mojito.
It's a great restaurant, loved the atmosphere and the decor it was like being on holiday, staff are really friendly and very helpful, and the food was delicious.
We have visited the Kasbah on numerous occasions and have enjoyed their varied menu eac time. The atmosphere is always congenial and the service is excellent. Carl Joaeph
Amazing food and great service in a lovely environment. Really good value lunch menu too. Would thoroughly recommend the Tagine de Fez! Will definitely be visiting again soon!
Great food, atmosphere and staff. Will definitely be going back. They have a good selection for vegans which is always great. Everyone needs to try the moroccon lemonade!
Excellent food and helpful staff. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere. Went for a friend's birthday and staff were happy to bring out a cake and candle at the end.
Food is delicious. Staff are very attentive. We didnt have to wait aa we were able to book online. Meat was so tender it fell off the bone
Food is gorgeous and the service is great.. definitely will be coming back.. beautiful decor.. prices are reasonable..great location.. love the mint tea and hot fresh bread ☺☺
Great service. Food was really tasty. Lamb tagine was excellent but cous cous dish far too large for one due to the huge amount of cous cous compared to the amount of veg.
The food was great and the staff were friendly. I don't know if it's worth booking a table though, as we ended up waiting 35mins for it with other groups who presumably hadn't booked. Go after 9pm when there's more space!
Went with a party of 3 to Kasbah. We had a really good time. Very nice food, really nice staff and a good atmosphere. Can't really complain!
It was a wonderful experience and the staff were all polite and keen. The food was well presented and had great taste, so overall a good restraunt
Great food and friendly staff. We thought that the fish dishes were xcellent. My son said that the lamb was delicious. Would recommend this restaurant to friends.
Every bit as good as ever. The food and service are both fantastic. It's friendly, vibrant and sensibly priced. Well worth the journey from London to Liverpool!
this was a really nice and peaceful place. The staff were really nice and polite, the food was spot on and it was a day to remember
Nice atmosphere. Grill food a bit dry. Burger was also dry. Lemonade was very refreshing. Staff very nice. Sunday evening, so didn't have to wait at all. Over all a good experience.
Have visited many times and have never had any cause for complaint. Both the food and service has always been of the highest standards which is unusual for such a busy eatery.
