Once you take your seat and dig into the halal, Asian seafood specialties on offer at Kampong Chai Chee Restaurant, it’s easy to understand why the place is so renowned. Kampong Chai Chee Restaurant in Punggol got its name. This is a no-stress zone, with friendly and well-informed wait staff, cosy seating and an amazing outdoor terrace that makes the best of their prime Singapore seafront location at the Punggol Settlement on Punggol Point Road. Unsurprisingly since it could almost jump straight onto your table on the terrace, zi char-style seafood is the name of the game here, and it is done extremely well. The options are many, with dishes ranging from nestum-encrusted Angka prawns to crispy squid coated in a fruity sauce made to a secret recipe and the signature spicy, sweet and sour tiga rasa fried or steamed fish or prawns. Whichever way you go, you can’t really go wrong.
It was great and super affordable! We love the seafood spread and the whole atmosphere was so serene! I would definitely come back for more!
More varieties of food and drinks will be appreciated . Nice view overall . Taste delicious and worth our time having our dinner there .
We had steamboat and chilli crab. The soup base was delicious and the ingredients were fresh. The chilli crab was nice too, except that We wished it was spicier. Strong taste of Maggi tomato sauce though. Service is very quick and the lady was very bubbly and nice. :)
