Singapore’s dedicated diners value freshness and flavour highly, and when it comes to seafood, their standards are high across the board. They’ve tasted the best from all around Asia: so when we tell you that they swear by Kampong Chai Chee Cafe & Restaurant on Woodlands Road in Choa Chu Kang, we’re not messing about. The seafood specialities on offer at their restaurant in the Junction 10 shopping mall, right by the meeting point of Choa Chu Kang Road and Bukit Panjang Road, are plentiful, and represent the best of Asian cuisine. Teochew fish meets Thai-style steamboats, Hong Kong-style steamed fish rubs up against the local Singapore crab, cooked up either with the iconic chilli, with black pepper or in a more Western-style with butter or salted egg. Take a trip to Bukit Panjang, Phoenix or Senja MRT stations for a great seafood meal: and they’re 100% halal as well, so you can be sure of pleasing your whole party. Reserve ahead of time though, as they do get busy on occasion.
The staff are very professional. We ate shell out. The food are well n fully cooked. Atmosphere was a bit noisy. Suggest to provide more tables. Overall well done. Thumbs up!
Good and fast service, helpful staff ! Tasty food, we had shell out and the spread was succulent. Thank you, we will return some time soon!
Overall, great food and atmosphere. Only one thing that is wasted is that it closes too early. Understand that it is within a shopping mall. But still, amazing! I enjoyed having dinner with my family. Thumbs up!
